Another Korean entertainer’s death for year 2008 – M.Street Lee Seo Hyun

After artistes like U-Nee, Turtleman, Monday Kiz Kim Min Soo, Lee Eon, Ahn Jae Hwan and Choi Jin Shil, another piece of news of the suicidal death of Korean artiste surfaced.

It has been reported that leader of 5-member group M.Street Lee Seo Hyun (30) has committed suicide and passed away.

He was found on 1st December at 4.40pm in the practise studio located in Seoul YangJaeDong. He had hung himself and a death letter was also found together with his body.

One of the police officer in charge of the case said, “We will look into the case as suicidal case, and we are now investigating the cause of his death.”

The officer also revealed that from the death letter found, it seems that Lee is a sincere follower of Christianity and had decided to commit suicide on 30th November.

Part of the content to the death letter, asking for forgiveness from his family and church friends, written on both sides of an A4 size paper:

All the last faces I see before I leave the world.. All the church members, the parents of the unfortunate son.. I’m so sorry to have hurt you…

… I want to go and be with God..

Lee’s body is now being placed in a hospital in Seoul. The cause of his suicide is yet to be confirmed but many had pointed to the Werther effect.

The group M.Street debuted in 2004 and they released their 2nd single ‘Tension’ during the start of last year and it was well-received by the manias especially. The song ‘How Do I’ was actually composed by member of American group All For One, which was popular back in the 90s, Jamie Jones.

The other members of M.Street are all still in shock and did no speak up much regarding the unfateful news.

I may not know M.Street well enough but I think we had enough deaths and suicidal news for 2008. I’m really fed up with this and had enough with all the tragic feelings.
