Dong Bang Shin Ki 6th #1 on Oricon chart with ‘Bolero’ single
Dong Bang Shin Ki, who is back in Japan with a new single after their 4th Korean album ‘Mirotic’ release last year, has once again risen up to the #1 spot on the Oricon daily chart.
They released their 25th Japanese single ‘Bolero’ on 21st January and the single went up to #1 on the chart on the same day it was released. This will make it their 6th #1 on the chart.
This will also make them the overseas artistes who have the most number of #1 on the chart.
#1 is a definite for them. ‘Bolero’ is such a beautiful track.

SeungRi, “We don’t know when Big Bang’s popularity will falter”
SeungRi was on SBS PowerFM ‘Song Eun Ee Shin Bong Seon’s DongGoDongRak’ when he said, “Big Bang right now has also no idea when our popularity will falter. Because we know that junior groups who has better capabilities than us will come along, we don’t stop at one place but continue to work harder.”
SeungRi also said, “There has been a lot of talk about Big Bang’s activities in 2008. There are also talks that my capabilities have no obstacles. Although this has caused me to feel hurt but I want to look at them as motivation to continue to work harder. I am proud to be a member of Big Bang.”
SeungRi also confessed on the show, “It was quite awkward for me with WonderGirls at first that we don’t talk much. But after working together as fellow colleagues for the past 2 to 3 years, we started to become closer to one another.”

i don’t think big bang can be comparable to any other groups. truthfully from the beginning, they started out as amateur as any other group however, as we continue to see their growth, they almost begin a new wave of korean interest. they bring back the craze that went on in the 90′s. i am always amazed at how far they have came and im sure there’s more in the future.
the key is for them to remain level-headed and committed. if they continue to deliver, we will continue to devote our time to it.
they are no shinhwa or h.o.t., they’re BIG BANG. the name itself serves it’s purpose.
That’s TVXQ! Congrats to them. I prefer them being in Japan wayyyyy more, I get to hear their real voices. Sweet. And sexyyyyy. (I like them singing ballads.)
Seungri is silly. VIP, forever. Big Bang is not going anywhere, they give their best performances and release such hit songs. With 2008 coming up, they are gonna be the best players out there. Solos here and there, new album, and ‘Female Big Bang!’

With the new bands debuting left and right its extremely hard to keep up with the industry however Doesn’t dbsk prove that staying power exists?

wow time really does fly. i still recall clearly the day wondergirls and big bang debuted (almost seems like it was yesterday)… and now it’s been 2 to 3 years already.
i hope big bang continues to bring us great music as well!
