2NE1 to release a new hit ‘I Don’t Care’ with reggae feel on 1st July
2NE1 will release a new song for this summer.
They will be releasing the song ‘I Don’t Care’ on 1st July. Much interests into whether the group will be able to make a triple hit after their previous hits ‘Lollipop’ and ‘Fire’.
The song is written and composed by YG producer Teddy and Stony Skunk Kush, and it is going to be the song included in the 2nd minialbum by 2NE1 to be released on 8th July.
YG Entertainment said, “With the song ‘Fire’ still doing strong up on various music charts, the girls want to show fans a new image and we have decided on revealing the song early on 1st July.”
‘I Don’t Care’ is a R&B pop song with reggae melody and a medium tempo.
The girls finished the filming of the MV on 22nd and 23rd with the director of Big Bang’s ‘Lies’ MV. The girls will be performing ‘Fire’ for the last time on SBS Inkigayo on 28th June.
Just 1 week into debut, 4Minute to endorse another product
Newcomer group 4Minute has signed on to endorse another product just 1 week into their debut.
News came recently that they have signed on to model for clothing brand TBJ, and it has been also known that they will also model for OnSae Telecom Collect call 1677.
The girls had brought the Kpop world by storm with their debut song ‘Hot Issue’.
OnSae Telecom said, “The girls are popular even though they just debuted, and their fresh image fits well with our advertisment.”
Meanwhile, the girls will be performing their debut song ‘Hot Issue’ on 25th June on Mnet M!Countdown.

that’s because when you endorse, you arent required to sing. works out well for them that way.
they didnt win those deals based on their debut song’s popularity alone…it has way more to do with those companies having close ties with jyp, and hence cube.

I personally would have liked it if it’s Jiyoon, because she’s so fierce…or hyun ah because she gets most of the attention anyway but yeah. it took me a week to finally realize who’s the leader tbh.

2NE1 has no chance of beating the tough competition as rookies without album sales. digital sales only do so much.
a reggae feel does sound good though, maybe they’ll get to wear nice summer clothes instead of black.
The single “I Don’t Care” releases July 1, but the full mini-album releases July 8. It’s not a digital single.
