WonderGirls US debut single ‘Nobody’ official MV revealed!
The MV to WonderGirls US debut single ‘Nobody’, English version to their Korean hit ‘Nobody’ is revealed.
THe MV looked almost similar to the original MV with some editing, dubbing and some newly shot scenes.

Advancing into the Japanese market, Big Bang “GDragon is the father, TaeYang is the mother”
Currently into their Japanese advance, Big Bang was on Tokyo FM Shibuya studio on 27th June for ‘DHC Countdown Japan’ show when they revealed, “GDragon plays the role of father and TaeYang plays the role of the mother. And the member who receive the most attention is SeungRi.”
And then SeungRi said, “I’ll listen well from now on.” And the other members went, “He always say this.” causing laughter in the studio.
Big Bang said, “We are all very exicted to be able to meet our fans so near in Japan. We will remember all the faces and meet them again.”
Big Bang has signed with Universal Japan the beginning of this year and had recently released their Japanese debut single ‘My Heaven’ which took them up t o #4 on the Oricon chart on the day of the single release which then went up 1 position to #3 the next day.
Meanwhile Big Bang will release their 2nd minialbum on 8th July called ‘Gara Gara Go’.

The dubbing in the new version feels a bit weird to me.. guess I’m still too used to the Korean version.

I am very proud.
I think, that the people unfamiliar with the song and video will not have complaints about the reshooting and scenes of the video, because they are not so used to the korean version only. hehe
exactly. the video was re-edited and re-done for the US audience unfamiliar with the girls. so i’m glad they kept the old video and just dubbed over the korean parts, and just re-shot the girls singing in english. it’s a good video, why ruin it with engrish and stuff.
as for the english remakes of songs…the original will always be the best, so it’s natural for us to feel that the english versions are lacking. but what’s important is the songs exposed WG to the americans, and maybe now they are hitting up youtube trying to find out more about the girls.
Some of the scenes in the MV were reused. And at certain points the voice playing + the lips didn’t sync ^^;
But all in all, I’m just really excited about Wonder Girls’ US debut <3 There's been a lot of mixed reviews but I'm cheering on for my girls ^^

i am not familiar with the song, but i think their english wasn’t bad, it sounds sexy in fact!
just sad that their MV was just dubbed!
hope they change it like, they were performing it on a club while sohee or yoobin’s ex lover was watching them with another girl! LOL! and then on the mid part of the song they would go directly on her ex’s table and sing the chorus line in front of his face! LOL! and then the guy would walk out of the scene while the girl would reminisce about their sweet and happy past! with a little teary part! LOL! just my idea, think it would be cute, but touching! ang much more appreciated! LOL!

Dont you think it was a little cheap to reuse some scenes from the original video? I mean they’re trying to break into the US market! shouldnt you at least not have to dub parts of the old video.
And do you think the korean in the beginning will throw people off?
i think it’s a move to expose korean music (kpop) to the american audience, to let them know that there’s an original version. like when they find out it’s dubbed, and they liked it still, they might try to look at the original…and that could be the beginning of something big for that person. wouldn’t that be awesome?

It's cool how they kept JYPs part in I think it will work well with introducing WG into the US as a group from korea that plans on enterting this market.
