Nam GyuRi to return to SeeYa?
It has been said that SeeYa Nam GyuRi has initiated communication with the company, and all eyes are on how the discussion will turn out.
Some have suggested, “Nam GyuRi has got back to good terms with the company”, “She will return to SeeYa” etc. With that SeeYa’s company Core Contents Media came out to deny such rumours.
Last April, there has been issues between Nam GyuRi and the company on complications of exclusive belonging rights of their contract. And recently she has been meeting up with the company for discussions, but the company insisted that she is still undecided on what to take on next.
One official said, “They met to confirm each other’s stand. The decision lies in Nam GyuRi. She was also the one who brought up the problem against the company. If she is to return as SeeYa, there isn’t any problem.”
There is also one official who stated, “Even though they met up, there isn’t any development from there. Nothing is decided.”
[Interview] How are So Nyeo Shi Dae and 4Minute in the eyes of 2NE1?
2NE1 speaks up truthfully about this whole issue of ‘war of girlgroups’ and also what they think of the other girl groups like So Nyeo Shi Dae and 4Minute.
They said in a recent interview, “We feel that the other groups have their own charms and specialities and we also get to learn from them in always working so hard. Instead of calling it ‘war of girlgroups’, it is more like all of us as females showing the ‘woman power’.”
They continued, “It would be good that 2NE1, So Nyeo Shi Dae, 4Minute will be able to capture fans’ heart through our cool performances on stage. It is because we are not standing in different places, but we are altogether in one place.”
“Our weakness is our group dancing. We are weak as a group dancing together after we have been into our individual training lifestyle for long. So Nyeo Shi Dae on the other hand are really good at group dancing and we are envious of that. There are many times when we are surprised at how synchronised their angles and lines are.”
They continued, “And for 4Minute, our thoughts are ‘they are really hardworking’ and ‘they put in much effort’. They encourage/stimulate us on.”
Meanwhile, the girls are promoting their title song off their 1st minialbum ‘I Don’t Care’ gaining much popularity together with other girlgroups like So Nyeo Shi Dae and 4Minute who are also promoting their songs.

Gyuri should stay away, she was the weaker link in the group and Boram and YeonJi are way better of as a duo, or to get a new member, maybe one of the ex T-ara girls.

See even 2NE1 said so themselves that they are good at group dancing. I think fans should not hound on people who said so..2NE1 definitely have room to improve. Same as the rest of the groups.

yeah it does.i remember in soompi when someone recommended YG to put them on a music show once a week and BAM the next day he made the announcement that they’ll only perform once a week.and the little things fans said they wanted them to work on have also been done so it makes me wonder if they actually do go to these sites which wouldn’t surprise me since Dara wrote a note to soompi fans.

I’m loving 2NE1’s reply. They admit to their weaknesses and consider other groups’ strengths as a basis for working hard. Competitive against themselves and not one to bring other groups down. Very healthy outlook in terms of the “war of girlgroups”. Whoever’s their PR should be commended by this well versed reply.

I’m not surprised that Nam GyuRi will go/want to go back to Mnet. It seems that Mnet is one of the bigger companies in Korea, so unless the BIG ones like YG take her in, the smaller ones might risk offending Mnet…?

I personally think that 2NE1 are good dancers. Heck I’ve never seen anyone sing and split at the same time like Minzy.
But like most Korean singers, if they are going to dance, they shouldn’t forget about their vocals. Sometimes 2NE1 are being too energetic that they lose energy for singing.
I wish Korean singers would try to remember that they are singers and focus on that.
2NE1 are good dancers. But they are saying how.they are not good at GROUP dancing. Which basically means being in-sync(did I spell it wrong). Overall, i like the girls, they are very honest and nice.
