KARA to do Japanese promotions this year end

Group KARA will be advancing into the Japanese market end of this year.

KARA, who recently released their 2nd album ‘Revolution’ promoting the double title song ‘Wanna’ and ‘Mister’, will be doing their Japanese promotions this year end.

One of the persons-in-charge revealed, “There has been much discussion about KARA going into the Japanese market since the beginning of this year. There was also speculations about KARA working with one major Japanese entertainment company. The girls will be making a visit and doing promotions the 2nd half of the year.”

There were also speculations from music experts in the industry talking about KARA having the highest chances of success amongst the girlgroups in Korea to promote in Japan. This is because they are have a cute image which goes with what the other Japanese girlgroups’ images. Already the girls have a certain level of popularity in Japan, and a famous Japanese DJ who is their fan has also interviewed them during his visit to Korea recently.

Meanwhile the girls are getting 4-5 proposals for CF in less than a month after their comeback.

Kim HyunJoong and SeungRi to appear together on SBS Family Outing

SS501 Kim HyunJoong will be appearing on SBS Family Outing.

Kim HyunJoong will be taking part in the filming of Family Outing on 24th and 25th August in KangWonDo as guest appearance on the show. The PD to the show revealed on 24th August, “Kim HyunJoong will be star guesting on the show. He is currently filming with us in a village in KangWonDo.”

Much anticipation is for the ‘love rival’ that will happen between Lee Hyori and Park ShiYeon during the show given Kim HyunJoong’s popularity from his drama ‘Boys Over Flowers’ beginning of this year.

Also in this episode of Family Outing, Big Bang member SeungRi will also be taking DaeSung’s place as DaeSung is currently recuperating from his injuries in a recent car accident. The show PD said, “SeungRi, who is taking over DaeSung’s place on this episode, together with Kim HyunJoong will participate as new family members. Please look forward to a fun episode.”

HwangBo is the hot issue in Taiwan

After going up to the #1 spot on a dance music site in England, singer HwangBo moves on to be the hot issue in Taiwan.

Her recent song ‘R2SONG(Arisong)’ has gained much attention in Taiwan.

HwangBo are known amongst fans as part of a member debuting in group Chakra and then going solo and taking part in various broadcast shows like ‘We Got Married’ showing a natural side of her, and now with her solo album she is also gaining attention from fans.

Netizens in Taiwan said, “Her music is really good. Look forward to her promotions for them”, “It is a feat that an Asian make it to the #1 spot on an English chart.” etc

With that HwangBo said, “I am very thankful that my album is well-received even in Taiwan. I wish to do public performance in Taiwan even though the plans to visit Taiwan this time was called off during to the typhoon.”
