An English cover for GDragon title song “HeartBreaker” was done by JD Relic and, it is one awesome cover. He portrayed the feeling and the lyrics of the song well and even some commented that he sounded like the amazing GDragon. What do you guys think of the cover? Ji Youn is loving the beat.

I love K-pop and because I don’t speak Korean, it’s nice to have an idea what the song is about, other than the title. This guy is good! This is a great compliment to G-Dragon….and it shows just how popular K-pop is in many parts of the U.S. (especially in California, where I live).
Another poster said if he wanted to be “famous” that he wouldn’t do a K-Pop cover — and that’s true — there’s tons of American pop or British songs he could do — but G-Dragon deserves an English cover — just shows his own creativity and popularity when an American does a cover of him.
Race has nothing to do with music — either you like it or you don’t — music is color-blind. Music is the universal beat that brings us together. Good job to DJ Relic, and great job for G-Dragon for inspiring this cover for those of us who don’t speak Korean. Thanks!

Lol so you suggest them to sing music that is well known wow how originql for people who want to be known to sing a song that is getting so many covers of the same trash songs lol I personally love this cover its good to hear an english cover of my fave kpop songs since I am not korean and I was born in NYC its good to hear a good cover of a good song lol because lately musi here is really really bad lol well thats my opinion anyways lol his voice sounds good so what if he used autotune and edited it its because the song is using auto tune it adds to the cover lol but behind the autotune it sounds like his voice is pretty good cause all autotune does is make your voice sound more robotic it doesnt really change the tone of your voice lol I heard a friend of mine sing using autotune and she has an amazing voice without the autotune its just that right now autotune is a trend that people use in their songs to add effect its really commonly used in dance songs some rock and mostly pop songs

Seems like you are deaf. Or trying very hard to deny that the song he translated was way awesome. Like he chose the right words to make it flow, and it sounded great. It sounded like it was meant to be an english song. I don’t get how it is terrible. Like it was auto toned just as much as G-Dragon’s was so if you say he auto toned most of the song you’d be dissing G-Dragon himself. And the words weren’t random? It made alot of sense to me, and the words gave the meaning to the song. It explained why it’s named Heartbreaker. It is an awesome K-Pop song, and K-pop is awesome, and it was also way cool the way he did it. Usually people cover korean songs and translate in english, and it sucks alot but I admit this was by far the best I’ve seen.
