One of the groups which received much attention amidst the ‘girlgroup craze’ this year 4Minute member HyunA will be the first member to have her solo debut.
It is revealed that HyunA will release her first solo album coming January 2010. Early this month, it was announced that HyunA and JiYoon were preparing for their solo singer debut and has attracted much interests from fans.
Much anticipation is for HyunA‘s solo debut since she has received much acknowledgement for her performance and dance capabilities even before her debut as part of 4Minute.
Meanwhile, HyunA is currently doing the recording works for her solo album. She will also be doing promotions after the album release.

congrats to her. cube should just change 4minute to hyunah and the girls~ SERIOUSLY…i’m just putting it out there! cube really should focus on training them more capable vocal wise instead just letting the popular one doing solo. how can they expect a group to stay together when the company keeps favorite one over another.
the thing is though, all the girls already have amazing enough vocals. gayoon and the leader have great vocals and the maknae, i don’t even know how she looks like, but she certainly has a voice. well, at least she’s comparable to dara’s standards, which i admit, isn’t very high. but still, overall, i don’t think training is the problem here.
i think it’s a case of overexposure to the point where you don’t even know the rest of the members much. i mean, did any of the other girls get on SGB or any other variety shows BESIDES hyuna or without her? don’t think so. i personally think ppl should pay more attention to gayoon. the girl is a powerhouse!
it’s not that hyuna is getting too much attention, it’s just that the rest of the girls aren’t given enough. which i personally think, is a shame. 4minute is a great group. despite my initial absolute dislike for them, they certainly proved they can bring it. i guess hot issue isn’t really my typa song. first impressions are important after all. but that doesn’t mean it can’t change though.
anyway, point of my rant is, i feel 4minute is being overshadowed by hyuna’s great personality. the other girls should step it up more. i wanna see more gayoon. heck, even jiyoon isn’t getting any attention anymore. where’s yo swagger girl?

Wow, on the picture yoobin and hyunah seems similar… Hm solo activities ? I don’t know… it seems like other companies copy YG strategies : tons of collabs this year and solo activities… I’m not saying that YG created the world of Kpop but following the sucess of his previous work, it seems like this company is a trendsetter.
