The WonderGirls to carry out their promotions in China alongside with that in the States

How will the WonderGirls carry out their promotions in China?

It has been revealed that WonderGirls will be releasing their official album in China coming mid-January 2010. And plans are that their Chinese promotions will be carried out side by side to their American promotions.

A JYP Entertainment staff said, “They will sing the Chinese versions of ‘Nobody’ and ‘Tell Me’ etc. And they will start promotions after the album release.”

Already, the WonderGirls had held their independent concert in Shanghai previously on 1st December, and has received overwhelming response and popularity. There are plans for the WonderGirls to make a name in the Chinese music market, working towards the title of a world star.

And when asked if their American activities will be put aside with their Chinese promotions, the staff said, “They will release an album in the States in February. And they wil do their best for their American promotions too.”

  5. Wonder Girls are conquering the world.
They will be flying back and forth between
    China, Korea, USA
back and forth so many times
promoting both Chinese Album + American Album.

And they will be singing “Nobody” TOO MANY TIMES! LOL!!!!
It will be ANOTHER YEAR OF “NOBODY”!!!!
    Too much “Nobody”!!!! LOL!!!!!
But that’s for China + USA.
Meaning NO more “Nobody” for Korea.
Except everybody will be watching “Nobody” in ALL LANGUAGES!
And everybody will be complaining about too much “Nobody”
even though the Wonder Girls are singing in different language!
    LOL!!!!!

But the result will be the Wonder Girls
will become the International Super Stars.
And they will be so Busy Busy Busy.
    Go Go Wonder Girls.

    • -sigh-

You must not be into Wonder Girls as much as you think. The only part of your comment that I’m going to refer to is the middle part. The girls will NOT be promoting Nobody. Especially not in the States. They have already set that out as a single. So this year, we might hear it again but most definitely, Nobody will NOT be their title song. I can’t say much about China since it says that they’ll be promoting Nobody and Tell Me. But they have already promoted Nobody in the States.

But I love the rest of your comment. ^^

Onto the article, I do wish that they concentrated on the States instead of China AND the States. The States should be their number one priority. Not to mention the girls will be exhausted doing full out promotions in China and the States. But I guess all we can do is to support them since the decision is already announced.

  6. They need to prepare more for their U.S debut, instead of worrying about China. Seriously, only Yeeun speaks acceptable English. The others need major work.

    • … and yet with only yenny speaking “acceptable” english, they’ve done so well in the states. catch my drift? if all of them spoke “acceptable” english by your standards, im sure they’ll even capture the support from fans like you.

anyways, im glad theyre doing well. we’re seriously missing wonder girls updates ):

im also glad theyre promoting nobody. suure, we’ll hear people complain and complain some more about how theyve been promoting it since forever but you must keep in mind that theyre towards different audience. the chinese would lovee their own version of nobody just like how americans like to hear different songs translated into english. tell me, nobody, etc. even some big bang songs. if im not mistaken, theres also an “Always” english version as well

      • Um, I hope you won’t be offended but in a way, the poster has a point. I do acknowledge that the WG’s are making a move in their US promotions, but it’s not yet close for you [or other fans] to say that “they’re doing so well”. And it’s not because they don’t have perfect english, mind you. I’m not here to trample the WGs, but as far as I’m concerned the cross-over that is “doing well” would be that Filipina girl, Charice.

But if you’re just saying that statement “they’re doing well” within the kpop loop, ok then — I guess it’s gonna be acceptable since they did a lot better compared to BoA and Se7en. I’m just saying, ok. I hope you won’t take it the wrong way.

I would have preferred them to focus on the US market too because I’m confident that they have a strong hold in Asia, but I guess all I can say is good luck with their endeavors.

  7. I’m just curious~
do wonder girls get bored/not singing nobody in 3 different languages?~
i love nobody but i really REALLY want to hear WG singing another song^^ i miss them

    • ahaha~! actually yes..specially sunmi^^// she’s now kinda off with it..watch their Golden Fishery guesting ^_^..but no choice..they still have to do it^_^ besides..that’s the song Wonder Girls become known…

oh well..just good luck to them..reviewing this year 2009 for Wonder Girls..is really healthy for them..why? although they are back in forth in korea and usa..they still have time to rest..that’s why i thought sunye, sohee, ye-eun gained weight..but not much^_^….

i really hope 2010 will also be a healthy year to them..FIGHTING~!

  8. We proud of u our 5 Wonders :x
