Rookie band C.N Blue did another great English cover during their appearance on SBS Power FM on 28th January, performing Jason Mraz’s ‘Geek In The Pink’.

wow. never really had much interest but must give respect to vocal ability after listening to geek in the pink cover. For the most part the english is pretty clear as well for someone who is not a native english speaker.
No doubt this band will be popular as their music is a good differentiator to the standard pop/ballad that normally gets the attention on korean music charts.

I love Jason Mraz and I thought Yonghwa sang that song justice. Some parts were hard to figure out, but his English isn’t actually that bad. I love Yonghwa and Jonghyun’s voices.

lol agreed. people make it seem like these idol groups are so good at singing. when they are nothing special.
well … it’s understandable that this performance is not perfect since they are not native english speakers. at least they are much better in singing in english than most Korean singers (idols or not) and they ARE good at singing irrespective of their fluency in that language.
you should hear jason mraz sing it…it’s not that understandable then either!
and i’ve seen him perform it twice live and have the album…
i think CN Blue did a great job with it! way better than me singing in korean for instance! ^_^

Point is he sings well. Whether or not he’s fluent is a totally different matter.

I loved it!! Sometimes on the faster parts it was hard to understand what he was saying, but overall he did an amazing job.
I also can’t believe JongHyun knows how to play all these songs on the guitar?? He never seems to mess up either =D!

As a jason mraz fan (he’s awesome live), I am definitely impressed. This is a hard song for native english speakers to sing due to the speed of the lyrics so to see someone whose native language is not english do this song justice is quite impressive.
