After School was on Yoo HeeYeol‘s SketchBook on 29th January when they performed the song ‘When I Fall’.
The song is written by leader GaHee for their recent minialbum ‘Because Of You’. Even though the group did not promote the song, the song has been well received by music fans when the group’s comeback minialbum was released.

I liked the live version.
This is my fav After School song. And everyday I like Park Gahee more and more… she might be the strongest singer in kpop, but she has lovely voice (better than most female idols out there) and she’s also multitalented: she raps well, she sings well, she plays piano and acoustic guitar, write lyrics and she’s the best female dancer in kpop!
The lyrics of this song is beautiful so congratulations for Park Gahee writing it.
After School has been growing on me… their songs are addicting and pretty cool. I’m looking foward for more songs released by them.
Correction:
she might NOT be the strongest singer in kpop, but she has a lovely voice (better than most female idols out there)
I loveeee this song and I really wanted to see them perform it live, but damn the live sorta killed it. Out of the three vocalists, only Gahee brought it. Raina and Jungah were a bit off tune at some points and not as powerful in their deliverance compared to the cd version. I know it’s hard to sound like the recording, but it is a slow song and they’re not dancing around or anything so I expected better than this.
I thought Gahee was flat half the time here, especially at the beginning. Raina was pitchy especially in the bridge. I think Raina is a great singer, but sometimes her voice doesn’t sound as open as I’d like her to be. She sounds like she has a hard time hitting notes at times like here. I don’t know if she’s sick or she’s straining her vocal chords too much.
After School isn’t exactly a singing group… they’re more a dance group. The only reason they added Raina was to round off the group’s musicality. I love this song, but I like the studio version much better because their live singing isn’t spectacular.
HAHA their voices were so crap in this >.<
no offense to them but i dont see how their talented unless you like sexy girls dancing in short shorts.
I think they should stick to lip syncing or just dont do this song live if they cant even stay in tune.
hater, their vocals were great
TROLL, ignore it. Their vocals were very good. They are all very talented.
i see a hater here, they are very talented.
it was very classy, lovely, and sexy performance
Just because i say they were out of tune.
Does not classify me as a ” hater ”
I Love their new songs esp When i Fall.
Im just saying they were really flat and out of tune at times.
IF YOU can honestly say they were perfectly in tune like their studio perf, you are obviously toned deaf no offense.
I really really love this song
Good job Gahee & After School
this song just proves how very much improved their singing is as a group, with the addition of raina. i love soyoung and didn’t want her to leave at all, but the addition of raina took their collective talent to another level. all they need now is better promotion, and an ALBUM.
and of course, props to kahi for writing an awesome song. not a lot of idols (or even solo artists) can boast performing a self-written song live.
Do they have any new more fun songs? I like they’re songs but I miss the fun ones like “ah”, “diva”.
i think it was performed before as one of their comeback performances.
)
I liked the studio version a bit better x3 The performance sort of killed their vocals D:
I actually like it live, i think their vocals were good
the song itself is sweet. but the performance could be better
