MC Mong gets 6 stitches for glabella injury during college event

Singer MC Mong (Shin DongHyun) tore and injured his glabella during an event at an university.

MC Mong was in ChoongNam CheonAh BaekSeok Cultural School on 26th February at 4.30pm to perform for an event when he hit himself against a pointed device on stage, getting a 3cm tear at his glabella.

According to his company, the accident happened because there was insufficient lighting, and he hit himself against the device not knowing it was there when he was going up the stage. Thinking that it was a minor injury, MC Mong continued with his performance, but he had to stop halfway through the performance when blood keep coming out form his forehead. He was treated for the bleeding to stop and he went on to end his performance.

After the event, he was sent to a hospital in Seoul where he had 6 stitches on his forehead. The injury turned out to be more serious, and he is currently resting at home. He will be under examination for his injuries for 27th and 28th February.

Meanwhile, MC Mong will be able to concentrate on treating his injuries since there is no filming for KBS 2Days1Night this week.
