Group WonderGirls are now currently preparing for their comeback.
According to JYP Entertainment on 28th March, the girls have returned to Korea from the States on 28th March to start the recording works for their new album. They will do the MV filming and jacket shooting and will return to the States early next Month.
The girls are set to release a new single in China, USA simultaneously coming May. The song is a song written by Park Jin Young. There are also plans for the girls to return to Korea to promote the song in May.
Much anticipation is to what music and style the girls will comeback with with new member HyeRim.

To tell the truth, HaeLim doesn’t realy fit the whole WG concept. It just looks weird that shes in it. She would be better of in another girl group.

i know how iconic they were. i know how big and influential they were couple years back. i know there are still some loyal fans. but how much star power do they still have to compete with the stars that have been around korea doing their thing since forever? they were HUGE when they were in korea but fans have a short attention span. you know its true. i just hope the expectations arent overwhelming that the girls under perform.
JYP’s flavor or style hasnt changed but mainstream kpop has. being so, how will wg’s music do today in kpop

remember that one american song that one lady sang and we thought it was wonder girls? the really nice r&b song? i cant find the link, but whatever happened to that? if i remember correctly, the girls were going to use that for their album?

as for jyp, i can be wrong. again and again for 2pm was a hit in modern day kpop so who knowss. maybe jyp can take what he learned in america and use it to his advantage for future songs
well you have to think about it. DBSK left for Japan for YEARS, and when they came back they were still a hit. DBSK managed to hit the oricon charts, and WG managed to hit the Billboard. Rain has also gone to the US to do a few movies, and now he’s also come back and is still a huge hit. And truthfully I don’t think kpop music has changed that much. I think the “style” now would be autotune, but autotune is the “style” in America as well. Although WG has been in America that doesn’t necessarily mean that they haven’t been listening to kpop while they were gone. Of course, at the same time I also believe that you should never over-expect….although considering that it’s WG I’m starting to get really excited
What I’m most worried about is how Lim is going to do in Korea, and how many fans that they have. I won’t lie, they’ve been gone for a long time and fans tend to get bored when their favorite singers aren’t around to make new songs. But then, WG never fails to deliver so 
Also, that american song that Wondergirls was going to use is said to be going into their album, which is in the works right now.

Wonder Girls never choose the easy time to promotion, they always come with their hit during the most exciting and difficult time of the year
Many people doubt on them but the truth just is Wonder girls = daebak
That’s another thing that I love about them. They don’t look at who they are coming back against, even though it could be DBSK, Big Bang, Rain, or Hyori, and say “oh no let’s delay our comeback so we don’t have to compete against them…” They just do it, and end up doing great. Well hopefully this year it’ll be the same. Hopefully JYP hasn’t lost his touch in making hits.

Im so happy that they are finally coming back ^_^ I think all the female groups especially the one’s that debuted in last year must feel really scared and worried b/c WG will come back with a song that will be for sure a hit .. i sadly the only group that will be missing in this year is DBSK

okay, i guess looking at how things went now this is kinda irrelevant but…i’m still thinking about this teeny weeny possibilty of seeing some wonderbang action. but anyhoo, it’s like 2010 is the new 2008 when it comes to kpop epicness. i’m just excited with all the comebacks of some of the artists that made 2008 one hell of a kpop year.

I think it’s weird how if some of these artists are only gone for like a month, then its a comeback.
I know right like some of the recent artists that made comebacks had their goodbye stages in January and then cameback in Feb and Mar I’m like what the heck they didn’t even stay away long enough to be considered a comeback
yeah sometimes i just feel some ents. dont want their idols’ popularity to die down so they make them comeback so early.

When WG was around all the girl-groups were overshadowed by them. So when Wonder Girls went to USA, the ent companies took advantage of this fact to finally try to make their girl-groups get some popularity and some ent company even debuted new girl-groups.
But even with so many girl-groups getting 1rst place when WG left, none of them have archieved the same hallyu and star power as Wonder Girls because Wonder Girls are the most iconic and hallyu star among the girl-groups in Korea.
There’s been a while since a big star/group made a comeback….
It makes me remember of 2008, the most epic year for Kpop: Wonder Girls + Big Bang (including Taeyang’s solo activities) + TVXQ + Rain + Lee Hyori + Seo TaiJi all making a comeback around the same time.
And rookies like 2AM + 2PM + SHINee debuting.
Yup, it’s like 2008 again.
I just love how WG come during the most exciting time – the year when all the big entertainers make their grand comeback.
2008 was best when we had Hyori, Rain, Big Bang, DBSK, WG, Uhm Jung Hwa, etc all sitting together at the awards. This year’s music festivals were definitely be better than the last few.
