American rapper Flo Rida praises Big Bang GDragon.
Flo Rida had an interview with Mnet ‘PopCorn’ recently when he said, “Just coming here to work with G-Dragon was definitely something big.”
Flo Rida had his concert performance in Seoul on 21st and 22nd May. And there was great interests when it was announced that GDragon is invited as special guest appearance. The 2 had performed GDragon’s song ‘HeartBreaker’ which features Flo Rida.
Flo Rida said, “It showed me that he has that American influence and also used some American and Korean lyrics. I’m a fan of G-Dragon.”
He added, “Because of the great love that my Korean fans give me, I would want to come back to Korea again.”
The show will air on 29th May at 12pm.

I have a feeling that florida doesnt really like GD, but he just says some good things about him as a way of getting closer to the koreans.

I agree w/ CandyGirl89 on the “debate” over Flo-Rida’s fail. It’s hard enough to catch American rappers/hip-hop artists talking nicely about each other. So instead of ripping into the semantics of Flo-Rida’s statement, just accept that he spoke well of G-Dragon. Which I’m glad he did.

“….he has that American influence…” I think what Flo Rida meant was that GD has been influenced BY Americans so therefore he would have that American influence.

I was talking abt the American influence bit and how ppl were making a huge fuss over it. I did not make an explanation about the lyrics sheesh. I do agree with Daner that there are 2 options for English. Just Flo Rida’s term of “American lyrics” was not used correctly or appropriately…I can’t find a word for it.
To clear it up some…there is somewhat a difference. Whenever you select a language for some websites, they’ll have two or more options for English. Like English (UK) and English (US).
I guess the use of “American Lyrics” was a bad term but that’s what it meant.
