Today on MBC Music Core, girlgroup WonderGirls had their last performance with ’2DT’ saying goodbye just 2 weeks after their comeback. The girls will be moving on to prepare for their upcoming American concert tour in June.
SunYe and YooBin are also the special one-day MCs together with C.N Blue Jung YongHwa on the show today.

Wow. I get disappointed with those people getting disappointed about Wonder Girls’ comeback. So the hard working people deserves this kind of treatment? Right, and all we have to do is to wait and listen.
I honestly don’t think its their real Korean Comeback. come on, TWO WEEKS? it’s just for spending time with their korean wonderfuls. Keeping in touch with them. What’s lacking is that they’re starting from scrap again. With debuting in the US goal, with a New member to promote. It’s hard as it is that they have to endure and adapt to their new environment in the US. -_- it was so hard that a Kid like Sunmi couldnt take it.
but oh well! wonder Girls fighting. what ever you do.. there’s a reason why you have your own fanbase. that you can lean on to.

WONDER GIRLS comeback were the most the most disappointing of all the comebacks that happened as of now maybe even the worst comeback of the year. I have been following them since Irony days and I have never seen them this bad, They look like rookies that just debuted!!! and the song is their worst song and will never be successful in the US…WTH was JYP thinking anyways trying to enter them in the US market!!! They might as well enter Japanese market and I know they will not have a hard time there and still earn a lot.
I luv Su JU!! Why do they come back with a song like Sorry Sorry? Cause it’s good! They are an excellent group, and ilove the cheorgraphy for there new song! I reckon it’s better than Sorry Sorry! (But overall Sorry Sorry was better)THEY CAN SING! What the heck! Has anyone heard Kyuhyun’s voice!! It is so pretty! I have no idea why everyone is anti Su Ju! i love wondergirls. their comeback is just a chance to be on korean stage again and to be with their fans, after being away for a long time. it just so happens that they have a US tour that’s why their promotions are not as typical as the other artists. they have a different priority and goal in mind.
and to be honest, i like 4minute but the song’s so typical. i like their costumes and stage presence/attitude and choreography/dance but the song not so much.

Super Junior and WG’s performances must be the most underwhelming ones among all of them. It’s not even fun to watch, it’s just boring. SuJu – huh they should work their dancing and provide better choreographies if they can’t sing either… At least they would be focusing on something. Right now it’s just all over the place. That’s what I call a rushed comeback… But that’s just MY opinion.
WG used to be more entertaining with ‘Tell Me’ and ‘So Hot’ but their performances just got boring since then. Still love Yeeun’s vocals and Sohee improved a lot. It was good vocal-wise but something is clearly missing.
4Minute and Davichi were the best tonight.
Suju seems to have a rush comeback b/c as you know, they are getting OLD: KangIn left for military, and ShinDong want to get married… If they wait a few more months, maybe ShiWon will get another drama, HeeChul will get more shows and stuffs… maybe then they will be down to 6 members lol
As for WG, their comeback is the WORST of this year. Totally a downgrade from Nobody, So Hot and Tell Me. Maybe they spend too much time studying how to correctly sing “Gave me 2 different tears” in English, hence their dancing and stage presence got wasted away. The “victory” dance is stupid, it enforce the stereotype about Asian and their victory sign, maybe a smart way to get Americans attention, but in reality, it’s sucky and ridiculous.
it’s not a victory dance, it’s EDT dance. They are saying “two, two, two”…imo, i loved WG;s comeback,. can’t please them all, wonderfuls are satisifed…that’s all that matters.

even as im watching their performances i cringe everytime i hear two two,
the only thing i look forward in their perfs, is watching Lim’s major improvement each time,
but honestly i cant believe they won something for this song, when there are soo many other good songs

I personally loved WG’s song. I think what’s happenning is WG is sticking with their old concept, the whole retro kind of thing, while KPOP has recently been changed to a bit more dark and techno. Although JYP knows that, he sticks with what he believes will work best for WG, hence the fact that people aren’t a big fan of the song, while others like the song for the “change” in the KPOP scene.

i think why some of us here think that these old groups like WonderGirls and Suju comeback are boring because they stick to their root which is cute and cheesy (esp.WG)
and because in recent year we seen so many new groups that are fierce and full of charisma on stage like 2ne1,4minute,After School etc so seeing WG with cute song and simple dance just boring us really.

xx is right. Its all because of trends. The trend in the pop music industry is more towards charismatic and fierceness recently. Some of the dance steps are still repetitive, but they are fierce rather than cute. Another thing is that 2DT is really one of WG worst hit songs. Even their less popular hit song Irony sounds much better. Hope that they can come back with a more mature image next time

people have expectations that are overwhelming. not that wg’s performances were underwhelming.
thats the problem. people are just expecting too much. they think the recent trend of songs shadow over wg’s primetime back in the hayday. incorrect. trends are a hot thing, but its the ones willing to step outside of the trend that will be remembered when time passes by

I was anticipating WG’s comeback and was even worried as to how 4Minute will fare against them in terms of stage performances but I was wrong. 4Minute did great and while WG’s performances were good, they just weren’t good enough.
And SUJU’s song feels like a rehash of their hit Sorry Sorry. Sorry Sorry was hella catchy and was a good song for them to get recognized in the music scene and not just the variety scene but Bona Mana is like Sorry Sorry, only 3x less appealing. Bona Mana is just riding off Sorry Sorry’s popularity.
