SNSD hit song ‘Oh’ ranked #1 for music download and stream chart for the first half of 2010!

So Nyeo Shi Dae’s hit song ‘Oh’ is #1 for music streaming and download aggregates for the 1st half of 2010.

This was according to the collation of music streaming and download aggregates on music site Monkey3 from the period of 1st January till 30th June this year. The song ‘Oh’ is up #1 in terms of streaming and #2 for download, and for streaming and download aggregate it is ranked #1.

At #2 on the aggregate chart is 2AM with ‘I will not let you go even if I die’. Following the popularity of the song is also the song ‘We Fell In Love’ by GaIn and Jo Kwon. And at #3 is WonderGirls with ‘2 Different Tears’. The song was up #1 on Monkey3 weekly charts for a record of 3 weeks after its release.

Also, Monkey3 conducted a poll from 24th to 30th June on ‘The best hit song for the 1st half of year 2010’, and the results are as follows:

  1. SNSD ‘Oh’ – 33% votes
  2. 2AM ‘I will not let you go even if I die’ – 17%
  3. WonderGirls ‘2DT’ – 16%
  4. Davichi ‘Stop the Time’ – 13%
  5. C.N Blue ‘Loner’ – 11%
  6. SeulOng and IU ‘Nagging’ – 10%

    LOL! Looks like everybody is surprise that WG song is on the chart. And they promoted it like..what..2 weeks? 3 weeks?
    Truth is, if they didn’t go to US, no girl groups will survive because WG will conquer it all.

    Congrats SNSD for being #1 eventhough I personally don’t like the song. But they definitely deserved it!

      not weird. because there are more people streaming & downloading those songs. The formula to be on top is pretty easy. Go stream & download your favourite hit songs on Monkey3. The more you stream/download, the more the chance to be on top.

I WISH. sad to see lupin so far down though ): that song was good. not to mention all the kara girls are gorgeous. congrats to my dubg’s! for a second, i figured their magic was absent in the kpop scene due to overseas activities but im glad to see they’re still loved. and the list wouldnt make much sense if OH! didnt top the list

    Oh! has definately been the best pop single for the first half of 2010. I’m looking forward to SNSD’s next release.
    Davichi’s Time Please Stop is also one of my fav singles of the past 6 months. Can’t wait for their new release as well 😀
