It seems that Kpop fans in Malaysia will get to catch a glimpse of JYJ (JaeJoong, YooChun and JunSu) soon in a fanmeet to be held in Malaysia.
KBites reader Nicole gave us a headsup that events and concert promoter RedStar will be bringing JYJ down for a fanmeet in Malaysia possibly in October~November. Already, many local fans are excited about JYJ coming down to meet their fans.

KBS 2TV Music Bank changes its viewer age rating.
This was revealed through the show’s official site on 21st July, “We have changed the age rating of Music Bank from 12 years and above to 15 years and above. With that, we will also allowing only those who are 15 years old and above into the filming set for the show from 23rd July.”
This come as a response to the rising number of cases of performances being criticised for over revealing clothes and adult concepts.

LG ‘s latest Android-powered smartphone, the LG Optimus GT540, has been made available in Singapore from 19 June.
And it has been revealed that the first 1,500 customers who purchase the phone will each get a pair of tickets to the exclusive meet-and-greet session with Korean superstar and LG Optimus ambassador, Lee Min Ho, on 31 July at the Marina Bay Sands. The complimentary tickets will be available on a first-come-first-serve, while stock lasts basis.
In addition, lucky ticket holders to the event who register in an online lucky draw at www.lgoptimus.com.sg will stand a chance to join an autograph or photography sessions with their idol.

The 55th episode of SBS Inkigayo on 6th June is canceled as it is *Memorial Day for the Koreans.
SBS Inkigayo, which is aired every Sunday at 4pm KST, was canceled on 6th June. SBS also announced it through their official site, “Inkigayo will be canceled as it will be Memorial Day.”
This will be the 2nd week that there will be no SBS Inkigayo since last week, 2010 Dream Concert was aired instead at the usual timeslot for Inkigayo.

Korean idol group BEAST is set for their Asian promotional activities, and good news to SG kpop fans is that one of their Asian stopovers will be Singapore.

Singaporean Kpop fans alert! Universal Music Singapore is holding a poll to bring Kpop idol boyband BEAST to Singapore!
BEAST is a 6-member idol boyband which debuted last October under Cube Entertainment. Their debut song ‘Bad Girl’ was an instant hit, winning them several awards including Cyworld Rookie Of the Month for December 2009. The group’s popularity and recognition has, in the past 8 months, escalated tremendously. Just recently they ended the promotions for their 2nd album ‘Shock Of The New Era’, which also won them their first #1 on competitive weekly music show Mnet M!Countdown, and they are set for promotions outside Korea.
Universal Music Singapore is currently holding a poll, which ends on 31st May, to find out whether fans in Singapore want to see BEAST in Singapore for one of the stops on their overseas promotions schedule.
