Park JinYoung to debut officially as an actor in upcoming drama ‘Dream High’ also starring Bae YongJoon

Multitainer Park JinYoung will take up the challenge and debut as an actor.

Park JinYoung will star in upcoming KBS drama ‘Dream High’ together with Hallyu actor Bae YongJoon which is set to air from 3rd January 2011. The drama is a 16-episode collaborate production by Key East, JYP Entertainment and CJ Media. Earlier there were reports that Bae YongJoon will act and Park JinYoung will produce the music the drama, but now it is confirmed that Park JinYoung will also star in the drama.

A staff revealed that both Park JinYoung and Bae YongJoon are 72-ers and are experienced in their field in the show biz. And in the drama, they play the roles of teachers discovering the next world stars, set in the GiRin Arts High School in Seoul. There will also be a love story between 2 female students and 2 male students. And one of them named Kay in the drama will win the 2017 ‘Album Of The Year’ award.

‘Hallyu Dream Concert’ to take place on 12th September with 22 performing Kpop stars

The Hallyu Dream Concert hosted by Korea Entertainment Producer Association, ‘Visit Korea’ Committee and GyeongJoo; and sponsored by Ministry of Culture will take place on 12th September in GyeongJoo Citizen Stadium at 6pm.

This concert is planned in line with the 2010~2012 Visit Korea project which is a large scale cultural event for those in Korea and overseas to enjoy the drama, fashion and music which are the main elements to the Hallyu wave.

The performing artistes for this concert are confirmed to be Super Junior, 2PM, KangTa, 2AM, 2NE1, SE7en, 4Minute, BEAST, Son DamBi, KARA, After School, miss A, FT Island, Supernova, Davichi, T-ara, MBLAQ, Ukiss, ZE:A, Secret, Flower, Seo InKook etc. There are a total of 22 performing teams (102 singers). And already, there has been growing interests from audiences in Korea and overseas.

JaeBum on the reason for leaving 2PM, “As long as I am in the clear with God…”

JaeBum avoid questions regarding the reason to why he left group 2PM.

He was featured for an interview on KBS Entertainment Weekly aired on 7th August when he was asked about the reasons for leaving 2PM permanently, “I wrote a post before I returned to Korea. So I want to leave the reason as it is.” Before he returned to Korea, JaeBum wrote on his homepage, “As long as I am in the clear with God, my family and my fans, it is sufficient for me.”

During the interview that day, JaeBum said, “I miss the kids (2PM). I wish we can welcome one another and get along well.”

JaeBum, “My comments on Korea, they were not from my heart”

JaeBum, who left 2PM after criticisms of his MySpace comments blew out of proportions last August, talks honestly about it after returning to Korea after 10 months.

JaeBum was featured for an interview held in a studio in Seoul HanNamDong on KBS 2TV Entertainment Weekly on 4th August.

On the show, JaeBum talks about the criticisms as well as his honest feelings, “I am very sorry. The stuff that I wrote when I am still young and things that I wrote without much thought had cause hurt to so many people, I’m sorry about that. I want to say that those are not from my heart.”

JaeBum also talked about his feelings having to leave 2PM permanently and his thoughts about the other 2PM members. He said, “After I returned to Korea, I have not contacted the other 2PM members. I feel sorry towards the other members.” Continue reading

After 2PM and MBLAQ, Teen Top is next idol group featured on GomTV ‘Making The Artist’

Teen Top, who became hot issue after debuting with the title song ‘Clap’, will show their daily lives.

Teen Top will be featured in GomTV reality program ‘Making The Artist’. And more about their daily lives and behind the scenes features will be shown from the 2nd week of August for 5 weeks consecutively on GomTV.

Before Teen Top, other idols featured on the reality program include 2PM, MBLAQ and C.N Blue, and they had received positive response appearing on the show. A GomTV staff revealed that they had decided to release Teen Top’s edition of ‘Making The Artist’ as there are many requests from fans and the group has garnered great interests, hits and views for their debut song MV ‘Clap’.

2PM’s first independent concert slapped with criticisms of inappropriate age rating

2PM’s first independent concert has been slapped with criticisms of showing content which is too sexual.

2PM held their first concert ‘Don’t stop can’t stop’ on 31st July and 1 August at the Seoul Olympic Stadium. A few days after the concert performances, criticisms against the concert had appeared amongst the netizens and fans.

During their performance of ‘Tired Of Waiting’, the 2PM members were seen dancing intimately with female backdancers rest in sexy costumes. Apart from the sexy dance moments with the female back dancers, there was also dance moves which imitates a kiss scene. The concert age rating was set at 8 years old and above.

ShinDong, “I was jealous of Nich Khun because of my girlfriend”

Super Junior ShinDong talks about an episode where he had been jealous of 2PM Nich Khun.

He had said during his appearance on KBS 2TV Happy Birthday aired on 2nd August, “My girlfriend said she like Nich Khun. I didn’t know what kind of response I should give when she said that.”

He added, “But even if I’m jealous, there is nothing I can do,” he continued to show his jealousy throughout the show which had caused laughter in the filming studio.
