On various online portal sites, many netizens uploaded photos of So Nyeo Shi Dae TaeYeon, 2NE1 Sandara Park and Big Bang TOP‘s siblings, gaining attention of the netizens.
2PM and 2AM parodies Brown Eyed Girls to be ‘Dirty Eyed Girls’
2PM and 2AM has come together to form ‘Dirty Eyed Girls’ parodying idol female group Brown Eyd Girls.
The 2 groups came together recently on Mnet Wild Bunny to do parody on Brown Eyed Girls. There are plans for ‘Dirty Eyed Girls’ to sing and even redo the MV to Brown Eyed Girls‘ ‘Abracadabra’.
A preview to the parody making was also released online receiving overwhelming responses from netizens.
Known to be the worst dresser in 2PM, member TaekYeon was put in charge as the group’s stylist for this parody, and 2PM‘s youngest member ChanSung will be the sexy image taking over Brown Eyed Girls GaIn‘s place in the group.
Much anticipation is to how the parody will turn out.
FT Islang Lee HongKi for musical debut
[Primanoona] FT Island’s vocal, Lee Hongki will make his musical debut in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream“. This musical will be staged at Kyung Hee University’s Santuary of Peace, from 26th to 31st August.
This romantic comedy, written by Shakespeare, portrays 4 young lovers and their funny interactions with the fairies in a moonlit jungle. This musical will have a much lighter atmosphere.
The musical will be one of the celebratory events for Kyung Hee University’s 60 years anniversary. Besides Lee Hongki, actors who graduated from the Theatre and Film Faculty like, Jeon Jaehyung, Jung Inji, Choi Eunseok and others will also star in the musical.
BoA’s director brother Kwon SoonWook, “Discovered Sori’s acting capabilities”
Top singer BoA‘s brother Kwon SooWook has praised singer Sori on her acting.
Sori, who is the female lead to musical ‘Ballerino who loves the B.Boy’ has recently appeared as the female lead to Astro‘s debut song MV ‘We will go’.
In the MV, Sori acts as a woman dumped by her man who went for another woman, she also had crying scenes in the MV. This was a different image to her sexy and hot image on stage performing.
Kwon SoonWook who was the director to the MV said, “I discovered the acting capabilities in Sori. It was so good I didn’t believe she only started acting a while ago. Her acting in the MV was above satisfactory.”
2PM and SHINee for ‘Tell Me Your Wish’ stage on Inkigayo
Coming 9th August on SBS Inkigayo for their Summer special part II, there will be a girlgroup special.
Female groups like So Nyeo Shi Dae, 2NE1, Brown Eyed Girls, KARA and 4Minute will be coming together for joint stages. Other than that there will also be a special corner of ‘ChitChat of the girls’.
And with the episode on 9th August, it will be a 500th episode special and there will be a performance put up by ‘WonderBoys’.
WonderBoys is made up of the 2PM MC members TaekYeon and WooYoung, and SHINee members Key and TaeMin. The one member left for this special group is left unrevealed.
They will be performing So Nyeo Shi Dae’s ‘Tell Me Your Wish’ on the stage with the special ‘leg line’ dance for the performance.
YooBin’s recent tweet, “WonderGirls the beauty, Park JinYoung the beast”
WonderGirls YooBin posted up a new photo on her Twitter account recently.
She wrote a post on Twitter with the title ‘Beauty and the Beast’ and uploaded a photo of her and member YeEun together with their mentor-cum-manager JYP.
YooBin added, “The tiara we are wearing are gifts for YeEun on her birthday” relating their thanks to fans.
Meanwhile, the Wondergirls are currently promoting their debut American single ‘Nobody’ and is set to release a full-length album this year.
Sori for mishap female lead to Astro’s MV
Singer Sori will be having her first acting challenge with her appearance as the female lead to composite group Astro’s debut song ‘We will go’.
The teaser video to the MV was revealed on 4th August showing a sneakpeek to Sori’s acting in the MV. In the MV, she throws away her strong and sexy image showing the side of a woman hurt after being dumped by her lover.
Astro is a 4-member R&B House composite group consisting of 1 male and 1 female vocals and 2 rappers.
The group’s first minialbum ‘We Will Go’ will be released in full online on 7th August.
