There has been great concern in Korea after news went out that Dong Bang Shin Ki trio Micky YooChun, Hero JaeJoong and Xiah JunSu had left their Japanese agency.
The news came directly from the trio’s Japanese agency AVEX Trax on 16th September, announcing the temporal suspension of the trio’s Japanese activities. With that on 17th September, the trio’s representative responded on 17th September that the report is an one-sided report from AVEX Trax and have posed the trio with adverse conditions.
Even though this is for the trio’s Japanese activities, there has been great interests coming from Korea’s side as well. This is because currently, we are looking at the ‘new hallyu’ by singers who are promoting in Japanese currently like Big Bang, Supernova, KARA, So Nyeo Shi Dae etc.
TaeYang has recently ended the promotions for his album ‘International release’ and will return to Big Bang for group activities.
TaeYang who is currently busy with preparations of his upcoming independent concert ‘I’ll Be There’ on 25th and 26th September will have his goodbye stage on MBC Music Core on 18th September. His recent album ‘Solar’ has achieved great results by going up to the #1 and #2 spots on Canada and American iTunes R&B/Soul chart even though there was no overseas promotions for it. And the ‘International Release’ also went up to the #5 spot on the chart.

Big Bang TaeYang gets criticized for a top he wrote on stage with swearing words printed on it.
TaeYang won #1 with the song ‘I’ll Be There’ on Mnet M!Countdown on 2nd September. However what also caught the attention of netizens and fans is the black top he wrote that day with the words ‘f*** you’ printed at the back.
Netizens who saw the broadcast commented online, “It is irresponsible to wear something like that on a show that many young kids will be watching”, “Big Bang in another criticism for their fashion.. is their cordi an anti fan?”, “GDragon is also like that, did you learn it from hyung?” etc.
Big Bang SeungRi meets with an embarrassment on his first blind date.
On MBC ‘Enjoy Today’ on ‘Sunday Night’ corner aired on 29th August, SeungRi was featured for his first blind date ever. On the show that day, SeungRi had told Jung HyungDon and Seo JiSeok that he wants to get a girlfriend.
And the 2 had driven around in a convertible in KangNam asking for female’s phone numbers. SeungRi also revealed that his ideal is someone who is cute. However, the females whom Seo JiSeok brought along for the blind date are not locals but foreigners like Singaporean. And SeungRi was not able to communicate well on his first ever blind date.

Singer Seo InYoung gives some shocking statements during her appearance on SBS Haha Mong Show.
According to the production team of Haha Mong Show on 26th August, Seo InYoung has done an indirect confession to Big Bang member TaeYang during the filming of the show.
She said during a corner on the show, “I have been chased after by male idol singers.” And when asked, “While you were being chased, is there any celebrity you would like to date?” And her answer was a shy “Big Bang TaeYang”.

What is web drama “Haru ~ a one day story ~”?
At late September, “2010 Korea Tourism Organization Interactive Campaign Sight” will deliver “Haru ~ a one day story ~”, a web drama consists of 6 groups scenario with 10 Hallyu stars acting in them, through its story, the web drama will tell viewers even more about South Korea. All 6 stories will encounter at one important point, having an unforgettable “day” that is framed with beautiful scenery. “Haru” means “Day” in Korean.
Singer Seo TaiJi and idol group Big Bang have been chosen as the combi which will be daebak if they are to join together to form a group.
A poll was done on music site Monkey 3 from 19th till 26th August on ‘Which combi will be daebak if they are to form a project group’ and Seo TaiJi-Big Bang combi was voted #1 on the poll with 42% of the votes from netizens.
