Too many similar faces amongst Kpop idols these days?
This was an observation by a Korean netizen who posted up a series of photos for comparison some of Kpop idols who look alike on an online portal community site recently. The post has attracted the attention of many other netizens.

The director to SISTAR’s MV ‘Shady Girl’ Joo HeeSeon posted up photos taken during the girls’ rest time when filming the MV on her Twitter and said, “The girls have to continue to wear high heels even though their feet hurt during the MV filming. ㅠㅠ Praiseworthy of the girls. Bora ya, you have to smile no matter how tough it gets alright? Don’t be hurt kids, hwaiting!”
Rookie girlgroup SISTAR member Bora is known to have hurt her fingers after a fall during the girls’ recent live performance.
The girls had taken part in ‘Let’s Start’ concert on 28th August in Seoul JamSil Olympic Stadium and Bora had fell due to the slippery stage floor after a rain on stage while performing their latest hit ‘Shady Girl’.
Because of her fall, the performance was paused and Bora was carried out of the stage with the help of staff members. She was given quick treatment and had returned to stage to perform again. After the performance, Bora was brought to the hospital for a thorough checkup and it was found out that she had fractured her left thumb and will need 3 weeks of treatment.
2AM Jo Kwon sings praises of newcomer girlgroup SISTAR.
On MBC TV ‘SaeBaGwi’ aired on 10th July, 2AM Jo Kwon together with SISTAR members HyoRin and BoRa were amongst the star appearances on the show. The girls performed their debut song ‘Push Push’, and heated up the atmosphere in the studio with their cute and sexy dance.
With that Lee KyungSil commented, “They are both sexy and cute.” Park MiSeon also said, “They are beautiful.”
Jo Kwon was then asked how he feels about SISTAR, and his answer was, “Honestly, I think SISTAR is one of the best newcomer groups around.”
Debuting girlgroup SISTAR rapper Bora has been known to be the ‘queen-ka’ of MyeongJi University.
Bora has previously garnered much interests as the campus queen and the lookalike to WonderGirls SoHee for KBS ‘Golden Ladder’. Back then when she appeared on the show, she had performed the dances to Rain’s ‘Rainism’ and 4Minute ‘Muzik’.
Ahead of the group’s official debut, Starship Entertainment revealed a recent photo of Bora. It is known that Bora has lost 8 kg from since she was the campus queen.
Upcoming girlgroup SISTAR (consisting of HyoRin, DaSom, SoYoo and Bora) leader HyoRin’s audition clip garners overwhelming interests from netizens.
Recently a clip featuring HyoRin singing a cover of Christina Aguilera’s ‘Hurt’ was uploaded on various video sites. And many netizens are amazed at how HyoRin covered the song in her own style despite having no mic.
Meanwhile, SISTAR is set to release their debut single in May.
