On MBC ‘Enjoy Today’ on ‘Sunday Night’ corner aired on 29th August, SeungRi was featured for his first blind date ever. On the show that day, SeungRi had told Jung HyungDon and Seo JiSeok that he wants to get a girlfriend.

And the 2 had driven around in a convertible in KangNam asking for female’s phone numbers. SeungRi also revealed that his ideal is someone who is cute. However, the females whom Seo JiSeok brought along for the blind date are not locals but foreigners like Singaporean. And SeungRi was not able to communicate well on his first ever blind date.

Big Bang is set for Korean comeback October~November

Group Big Bang is set for comeback the later half of this year.

It is revealed that the earliest they will have their comeback in Korea is in October. They are set to released their 2nd album 2 years after their last album released in November 2008 with title song ‘Sunset Glow’.

YG Entertainment told MTStarNews on 20th August, “Big Bang will be releasing their new album coming October~November. We are looking at a full length album release.”

The YG rep also added, “Until now Big Bang member GDragon has participated in a way or another in the production of their albums. But for this Korean album, all the songs are produced by GDragon. This is the reason why it took so long to release this album.”

GDragon and TaeYang spotted on their holidays

Photos of Big Bang members taken on their holidays garner interests amongst fans.

The photos posted up on an internet portal site recently features GDragon in brightly dyed hair and topless. Fellow member TaeYang was seen without his top. And TaeYang who is known for his good build was seen attracting many stares from those around him in the photos.

The netizen who posted up the photo commented, “Photo taken by the person who sold them ice desserts when they went wakeboarding with their dance team.”

GDragon rumoured to be in a love relationship with Japanese model Mizuhara Kiko

Rumours have surfaced that Big Bang GDragon and Japanese model are in a love relationship.

A report was featured on Japanese newspaper SanKei Sports on 14th August, “Big Bang GDragon and Mizuhara Kiko in a relationship.” And after the news went out, there was overwhelming interests in Korea as to who Mizuhara Kiko is.

Mizuhara Kiko is born in 1990 in the States. She debuted as a model in 2007 in fashion magazine ‘vivi’. She is currently gaining popularity as a model.

And according to the news report, the 2 had met when Big Bang first debut in Japan in June. But GDragon’s representative’s response to the news is, “They are just close friends and not lovers.”

What could be the reason for Big Bang & 2NE1’s success, as observed by Se7en?

On the 20th, Se7en held a comeback party at a club in Seoul, where afterwards, he met with news reporters where he discussed his juniors, Big Bang and 2NE1. He stated “Since within each group, each member has their own area and personality, they’re ensuring their survival.”, “They seem to express everything well, from their teamwork and musical personality, and fashion. As their senior, I’m really proud of them”, and laughed.

Yang Hyeonsuk, YG Entertainment representative who was also at the location had said “Big Bang and 2NE1 are really uncomfortable with Se7en.”, “When they were trainees, Se7en was a top star and on top of that had charisma to begin with. I’m most afraid of G-Dragon in this world but the person who G-Dragon is the most afraid of is Se7en.”

YG, “GDragon’s concert too obscene? Contrary to the freedom of expression”

It is known that YG Entertainment has applied for the *위헌법률제청 on 16th July in Seoul East District Court under the regulations of public performance.

That day, YG’s representative Yang HyunSeok and the public performance team leader Jung (35) went through the first trial for the case of GDragon’s concert performance being criticised to contain too much sexual references.

Their legal representative Jung KyungSeok said, “This case goes against the rights for freedom of expression stated under the amended regulations of public performances. By the ratings by age, the concert can be viewed by teenagers above 18.”

Meanwhile, ahead of this in March, GDragon’s solo concert has been slammed with criticisms of having too many sexual reference which pose as a harm to the teenagers who attended the concert.

G-Dragon & Taeyang originally to debut as duo & talk about their different reactions to fans

It was revealed that G-Dragon and Taeyang were ready to debut into the music industry a few times before they debuted with Big Bang. They confessed that they were originally planned to debut as a duo.

G-Dragon and Taeyang were guests on the 16th episode of Sketchbook, and they revealed that they were set to debut under the english name of “GD-YB” with their name’s initials as the name of the hip hop duo.

Although, they planned to debut as a hip hop duo, Their agency’s president Yang Hyun did not like their idea of debuting as a hip hop duo and debuted them as part of Big Bang instead.

G-Dragon said, “We made the group name ourselves, my name and his name’s initials formed into GD-YB. I talked to our president about this idea of ours but he did not like it”.
