f(x) Krystal, “As a female singer, I was hurt”

f(x) member Krystal reveals the pains of a female singer.

Krystal will be appearing on SBS variety show ‘Delicious Invitation’ aired on 30th July. During the filming, Krystal revealed, “I’ve been hurt as a female singer.”

She explained, “Because I’m in a girlgroup, it’s tough because I’m being compared from my vocal capabilities to my body. Apart from that, this is felt by members from all the girlgroups.”

Singer Gummy who was present commented, “It is lonely to be a female singer,” and her reason for saying so is, “Because I sing sad songs, life felt sad, and it seems like it is hard to love comfortably.”

Sandara Park, “We have came to see Gummy’s concert”

After Se7en, Park Bom is the next one to hold on to Sandara Park’s ‘palm tree’ hair.

Sandara Park posted on her me2day on 25th July, “We went to see Gummy unnie’s concert” and posted a photo of 2NE1 members at the concert.

She added, “The concert just ended a while ago. Kyaa~ Really cool! (Hands clapping)!! There was instances where I felt so touched listening to the sad songs. Personally I really like ‘I’m Sorry’. The MV was good too. We also want a concert.”

In the photo revealed, it can be seen that Park Bom was holding on to Sandara Park’s ‘palm tree’ hair while CL has her back facing the camera.

Mnet music research centre did an investigation on 1000 male and female adults for the whole month of June. The investigation looked into the 57 singers/teams who are the most active currently in the Korean music scene in terms of vocal capabilities, appearances, amiability, talent, performance and variety.

And through the survey, it was known that other than vocal capabilities, the idols are ranked very high in all the categories. In terms of their live performances, 16 ranks out of the top 20 ranks belongs to idol singers. And in terms of appearances, the girlgroups have dominated the rankings. Of the top 10 rankings we see the names of popular girlgroups like So Nyeo Shi Dae, KARA, f(x), After School, 2NE1, T-ara, 4Minute etc.

With the Korean entertainment scene waking up to shocking news of the death of Hallyu star Park YongHa on 30th June, many stars have also appeared to pay their last respects to the star at his funeral.

Yang HyunSeok, “Big Bang and 2NE1 will do well even if they are to debut in the American music market”

Big Bang to 2NE1, and even Se7en and Gummy. This summer, we are seeing the comeback of some of the biggest artistes in Kpop. As Yang HyunSeok word it, “YG mobilization”.

Since 2NE1’s minialbum released last July, there has not been any offline album release from YG Family. And the question is why the 1 year blank for some of the great artistes in Kpop like Big Bang, 2NE1, Se7en and Gummy?

Yang HyunSeok explained, “For a singer, the contents is very important when it comes to determin win or defeat. The YG members had made use of the time to make and practise their new songs. From July, the YG singers will be back in order.”
