T-ara to advance overseas for 2nd album promotion

T-ara talks about making their overseas expansion and main focuses for album activities in 2010.

T-ara’s agency said on the 19th, “We’ve had love calls from 8 different countries including Japan, China, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore, but we’ve refused them all. Although T-ara members were busy acting in Korea during last years album and currently are, when the new album is released during the second half of the year we expected to advance overseas but stick mainly to Korean promotions for the time being,” he said.

T-ara HyoMin transforms as SoYeon?

HyoMin posted a photo of herself transforming (?) member member SoYeon on her Twitter on 3rd August and wrote, “HyoMin whose soul has moved and tranformed into SoYeon unnie’s body..”

Netizens’ comments on the photo are, “What is this?”, “Scary”, etc. Meanwhile, HyoMin is currently working on upcoming SBS drama ‘My Girlfriend is a nine-tailed fox’ alongside actors like Lee SeungGi and Shin MinAh.

T-ara leader BoRam to follow mother’s foot steps with drama debut

T-ara leader Jeon BoRam will follow her mother Lee MiYeong’s foot steps with her drama debut in upcoing KBS 2TV drama.

According to Core Contents Media, “Jeon BoRam has been casted as the main lead for upcoming KBS 2TV drama special ‘The Grim Reaper in purple heels is coming’.” BoRam will be the 5th member from T-ara after JiYeon, EunJung, HyoMin and Qri to have her drama debut.

Jeon Boram plays the role of a 19-year-old Woo AhMi in the drama special. Other stars featured in the drama include Jeon HyeBin and musical actor Jung SeongHwa. The drama is set for airing on 7th August.

T-ara JiYeon’s first impression on BoRam, “What’s this elementary kid doing here?”

T-ara members revealed their first impressions of one another through their recent interview.

On KBS Entertainment Weekly aired on 17th July, the girls get together to spend some fun time together ahead of their debut 1st anniversary. Except for SoYeon, the girls went to a theme park for a guerrilla date with the show MC.

And through questions and answers, it was found out that JiYeon is the member who gave the best first impression and HyoMin was the one who gave the worst for EunJung. EunJung said, “When I first saw JiYeon when she was in high school 3 year, she had long eyebrows and she was pretty like a child. The first impression was good.” And on HyoMin, “Her first impressions and usual features are different. I thought she was a fierce unnie at first impression.”

Sunny makes surprise appearance on Invincible Youth 1 month after leaving the show

So Nyeo Shi Dae Sunny pays a visit to Invincible Youth.

On KBS Invincible Youth aired on 16th July, Sunny had made a surprise appearance on the show.

Sunny was invited to make an appearance on the show as the team took its filming in Japan. Meanwhile, IY member HyoMin who was seen in tears when Sunny left the show was shocked to see Sunny on the show that day.

Kim KwangSoo representative, “There will be a huge change coming up for T-ara”

T-ara’s agency Core Contents representative Kim KwangSoo revealed, “There will be huge transformation for T-ara.”

Representative Kim released news reports on 9th July saying, “Coming 23rd July, we will be announcing the huge change in T-ara. This is not regarding T-ara members’ personal problems but it is a change to the group as a whole.”

The agency also spoke up about members HyoMin and JiYeon’s recent troubled-sounding tweets, “The members are just complaining from their busy schedule. Rumours of T-ara’s group crisis are groundless.”

T-ara’s agency denies speculations of group crisis following JiYeon and HyoMin’s tweets

T-ara’s agency clarifies on recent tweets by T-ara members which had sounded like they are trouble, “The members are just complaining, rumours of crisis for the group are groundless.”

T-ara’s representatives reveals on 8th July, “Twitter is like a media for the girls to post messages to friends like your mobile phone text messages. It seems there has been some misunderstanding with the tweets the members posted without second thoughts after their busy schedules. We checked with JiYeon on the tweet she posted and what she had meant, she had meant for the tweet to be just complains after a tiring day of schedules. Even JiYeon herself finds it ridiculous that her tweets were seen as signs of crisis for the group.”
