Too many similar faces amongst Kpop idols these days?
This was an observation by a Korean netizen who posted up a series of photos for comparison some of Kpop idols who look alike on an online portal community site recently. The post has attracted the attention of many other netizens.

2AM Jo Kwon sings praises of newcomer girlgroup SISTAR.
On MBC TV ‘SaeBaGwi’ aired on 10th July, 2AM Jo Kwon together with SISTAR members HyoRin and BoRa were amongst the star appearances on the show. The girls performed their debut song ‘Push Push’, and heated up the atmosphere in the studio with their cute and sexy dance.
With that Lee KyungSil commented, “They are both sexy and cute.” Park MiSeon also said, “They are beautiful.”
Jo Kwon was then asked how he feels about SISTAR, and his answer was, “Honestly, I think SISTAR is one of the best newcomer groups around.”
Newcomer girlgroup SISTAR’s impression live performance on MBC radio Park GyungLim’s Starry Night previously on the 7th garners much interests amongst netizens.
Members HyoRin and SoYoo did a duet of ‘Stand Up For Love’ on the show. And video clip of their live performance received over 50K views after it is upload by fans online.
SISTAR voiced, “We are very thankful of the interests that many have on us. We will work hard to show even better performances in the future.”
‘Edgy-dol’ SISTAR are the new models for Samsung Yepp.
Newcomer girlgroup SISTAR’s agency StarShip Entertainment reveals, “SISTAR has been signed up as models for Yepp. We have received many inquiries for the girls to endorse fashion, games and f&b products after the girls’ debut.”
Before debut, member HyoRin was also selected from 450K participants in the open audition to be the female lead to Yepp Magic Drag CF which also stars Jang GeunSeok.
A Yepp branding official commented, “We see great potential in group SISTAR and had decided to sign them on for the CF. We are holding great anticipation working with them.”
Upcoming girlgroup SISTAR member HyoRin will become ‘Jang GeunSeok’s girl’.
HyoRin has recently been chosen to sing a duet song and film a MV together with Jang GeunSeok for Yepp. She was chosen by netizens’ votes during the open audition on Yepp’s official homepage.
Earlier, a video of HyoRin dancing posted online has caught the attention of many netizens where she has showed off her great dancing capabilities. A Yepp rep said, “With the participations of many top musicians earlier like Im JungHee, SG Wannabe, Epik High, Son DamBi, SISTAR will be the star of our music marketing season 6.”
Ahead of their debut coming mid-May, SISTAR has been gaining much attention for their unique styles and had received proposals for endorsement by various brands.
Upcoming girlgroup SISTAR (consisting of HyoRin, DaSom, SoYoo and Bora) leader HyoRin’s audition clip garners overwhelming interests from netizens.
Recently a clip featuring HyoRin singing a cover of Christina Aguilera’s ‘Hurt’ was uploaded on various video sites. And many netizens are amazed at how HyoRin covered the song in her own style despite having no mic.
Meanwhile, SISTAR is set to release their debut single in May.
