SS501 Kim HyungJoon for his solo activities in Singapore after moving to new agency

SS501 Kim HyungJoon will have his first official solo activities in Singapore after moving to a new agency.

Kim HyungJoon’s new agency S-Plus entertainment revealed, “Kim HyungJoon has received heated lovecalls from Singapore and is invited down for a fanmeeting and showcase event. He will be in Singapore from 28th August and will be back on the 30th.”

The fanmeeting organised by Warner Music will see the attendance of 3000 fans. Kim HyungJoon also said, “I’m really nervous and excited since this is my first time going to Singapore. Even though it will only be for a short period of time, I hope to spend some enjoyable time with the fans.”

SS501 Kim Hyung-joon may sign with Kang Ji-hwan agency

Boy band SS501 member Kim Hyung-joon is looking into signing with actor Kang Ji-wan’s agency S Plus Entertainment.

An official at S Plus told Asia Economic Daily over the phone on Wednesday that they are reviewing whether to sign an exclusive contract with the singer which will support his activities in Korea, although emphasizing “nothing has been decided.”

The official also explained, “S Plus’ headquarters in Japan currently handles various affairs for Kim in Japan but that’s different from signing an exlusive contract.”

S Plus supports several ‘Hallyu,’ or Korean Waves stars in Japan including Song Seung-heon, Kang Ji-hwan and Lee Jun-ki, either managing their career in the country, creating their Japanese websites or promoting their businesses.

SS501 Park JungMin signs with Taiwan Sony Music, for his Chinese activities

SS501 Park JungMin is said to have signed up with Taiwan Sony Music.

An official revealed, “Park JungMin has signed an exclusive contract with Taiwan Sony Music. This was done before Kim HyunJoong moved to Bae YongJoon’s agency Key East.”

It seems that currently Park JungMin is looking at activities in the Chinese entertainment market with the move to sign with Taiwan Sony Music. With news that Park JungMin and Kim HyunJoong will be doing their solo activities, there are great interests as to the future plans for the rest of the members Heo YongSaeng, Kim KyuJong and Kim HyungJoon.

SS501 won #1 on KBS Music Bank on 11th June with their comeback title song ‘Love Ya’. And they wrote about their feelings winning #1 on their official homepage. Member JungMin wrote, “It is not because we are good that we won but its because Triples are great supporters. Because of that we are even more grateful. Even though I’m feeling very excited, I don’t know why my heart felt so heavy.”

HyungJoon wrote, “Really happy. This is the award made by 5 of us and the Triples. Let’s be like that for the days to come alright? Thank you.” KyuJong wrote, “Thanks to all of you, we got #1. Thank you. Recently, everyone has been busy studying up for the exams and cheering for the world cup. My conditions is not good today but I felt like all of it has disappeared. Really thankful.”
