New 6-member idol group Dalmatian, groomed by MC Mong, debuts officially!

Rookie -member idol group Dalmatian’s 1st digital single ‘Round 1’ is officially released on 1st September.

The group is said to be the collaboration production between MC Mong and Jo YeongSoo after ‘Bubble’, and the lyrics are written by Dalmatian Day Day and other members.

The group consists of Inati, DayDay, Dari, Jisu, Drama and YoungWon. It is known that all members have trained up to 5 years for their singer debut. In addition, the group took 6 years in preparation with MC Mong involved in the planning.

2PM member JunHo exposes Nich Khun?

On SBS HaHa Mong Show aired on 15th August in the corner ‘Please, Mother’, 2PM members reveal stories never before revealed on broadcast.

The MCs Haha and Mong, played one-day mothers, and visited 2PM’s dormitory. What had caught their attention is that the 2PM members would sleep freely any way around the house, not carrying it is the room or living room.

On the show, the 2PM members also talked about stories never before revealed. JunHo said “Nich Khun is a trickster who pretends to be an angel. There was once when we were in the States for public performance, and we went to the park. Nich Khun who went to school in the States pointed to a wooden stage and said that it came from a tree which lived 10 million ears. But after that, I went to do some research and that tree only lived for 100 years.”

Research: How do we recognise idol singers these days?

How do we recognise the idols of this time?

Mnet music research centre did an investigation on 1000 male and female adults for the whole month of June. The investigation looked into the 57 singers/teams who are the most active currently in the Korean music scene in terms of vocal capabilities, appearances, amiability, talent, performance and variety.

And through the survey, it was known that other than vocal capabilities, the idols are ranked very high in all the categories. In terms of their live performances, 16 ranks out of the top 20 ranks belongs to idol singers. And in terms of appearances, the girlgroups have dominated the rankings. Of the top 10 rankings we see the names of popular girlgroups like So Nyeo Shi Dae, KARA, f(x), After School, 2NE1, T-ara, 4Minute etc.

Jo Kwon and GaIn duet ‘We Fell In Love’ the #1 duet for the first half of 2010

‘Adam Couple’ 2AM Jo Kwon and Brown Eyed Girls GaIn is up #1 for duet song chart for the first half of year 2010.

According to music specialty site Monkey3, the duet ‘We Fell In Love’ sang by Jo Kwon and GaIn is up #1 for duet chart for the first half of 2010 (from January to June). The song is also up #9 for the aggregate chart for the earlier half of this yea.

At #2 is the song ‘Love Taught Me To’ by Lee SeungGi featuring 8eight BaekChan. And at #3 is the song ‘Nagging’ by IU and 2AM SeulOng.

miss A surpasses veteran singers to be #1 on Monkey3 weekly chart

Newcomer girlgroup miss A has risen to the #1 spot on Monkey3 weekly chart for the 2nd week of July (5th~11th July).

The group’s debut song ‘Bad Girl Good Girl’ is up #1 just 2 weeks after it entered the chart at #16. It has moved up 15 rankings really fast to be at #1.

This is great results for the newcomer considering that they have surpassed other veteran singers like Baek JiYoung, Son DamBi and Narsha to be at #1. MC Mong’s latest song ‘Sick Enough To Die’ which was #1 last week slipped one rank to be at #2. And Baek JiYoung’s song ‘Over Time’ which was #2 last week slipped 2 rankings to be at #4 this week.

Lee Hyori’s Last Appearance On TV, Ending All Activities With Running Man on July 11th

Lee Hyori’s appearance on SBS Good Sunday’s Running Man,hosted by Yoo Jae Suk will put an
end to Hyori’s appearance on tv,and she will therefore resume all activities after that.

Lee Hyori’s name has been tarnished by the recent controversies involving 6 songs of her latest album,which appear to be plagiarized tracks stolen by so-called music producer,Bahnus,who is currently facing a lawsuit from Hyori’s last company, Mnet Media which declared that “We will take full responsibility and will solve this matter for Lee Hyori,even though she didn’t renew the contract with us.We are aware that the plagiarism issue has put Hyori and Mnet Media in a bad position,affecting H-Logic’s album sales and damaging her image”.

Lyn, “I used to like MC Mong, but I got tired of him after a while”

Singers MC Mong and Lyn revealed that they have once liked each other.

The 2 had appeared on MBC Come To Play aired on 5th July when Lyn said on the show, “There was one point in time when I like MC Mong, and people around me know it. During my early debut days, I had once stored my own numbers in MC Mong’s phone when he had left it behind by accident. And after that, even though I waited, there was no call from him.”

Her confession has gotten the other star appearances shocked. But she continued, “And after that, I received a call from him to help do featuring for his album. After which, I received his call every night.”

MC Mong also confessed that when he first met Lyn, his heart fluttered. He said, “We met at a cable broadcast filming, and when I heard her singing, I was shocked. I fell for her when I first met her.”

Lee Hyori’s Bomb-Like Revelation, “My Favorite Outfit?… Naked,I Prefer Wearing Nothing At All”

On SBS’s Haha Mong Show,the fashionista Lee Hyori made a striking confession: “Wearing nothing, that is my favorite outfit”.

The singer shocked everyone who were present, when she revealed that she felt more comfortable wearing nothing at all, when she was asked to tell which was her favorite outfit.

She confidently added :”Did you all hear the saying stating that the less you wear the more sexier you look?” Mc Mong then responded, embarrassed :”Your standards are too high”

“Then, will you wear your favorite outfit during a live performance?” “If someday I feel like it, I will.”
