Yoo JaeSeok awarded the variety Daesang during MBC Variety Awards

‘Infinite Challenge’ has been awarded the best variety show for the 4th year on MBC Variety Awards.

MBC Variety Awards took place on 29th December in MBC broadcast centre. This is the 4th consecutive year the show has been awarded the best variety show on the award ceremony after it was first chosen by netizens as the best program in 2006.

And as for the variety DaeSang, the award goes to MC Yoo JaeSeok. Yoo JaeSeok has received acknowledge for his appearance on MBC ‘Come To Play’ and ‘Infinite Challenge’. This is Yoo JaeSeok‘s 5th DaeSang received.

MBC Infinite Challenge parodies various Kpop hits!

On MBC Infinite Challenge aired today on 10th October, we were let in to some comical parodies.

Yoo JaeSeok and Park MyungSoo parodised ‘My Ear’s Candy’, and Noh Hong Chul, JunJin, Gil and Jung JunHa parodised ‘Abracadabra’.

The 3rd 2009 Mnet 20’s Choice to be held coming 28th August in JamSil Stadium will be an event for the 20s in Korea, the representative trend setters in Korea.

4Minute’s car damaged and belongings stolen – Who did it and why?

It has been known that group 4Minute’s car has been damaged together with their belongings stolen.

PlayCube Entertainment said on the 22nd, “On the morning of 21st June, the girls’ van parked near their practice rooms in Cheong Dam Dong has its rear window damaged and the girls’ belongings stolent. There were traces that the car was searched, and a video camera containing videos of the girls’ activities was stolen. We have already reported this to the police.”

Is this the doing of a 4Minute fan, or is it done by their anti-fan is still unclear. Just 1 week into their debut and they have already have their belongings stolen and properties damage, it seems that they are really making ‘Hot Issue’s. A representative said, “Who did it and why, we will investigate into it.”

Meanwhile the girls had their debut stage on 18th performing ‘Hot Issue’, and has received great responses from their fans.

Gagman Park Myung Soo and So Nyeo Shi Dae Jessica for a duet

It has been known that gagman Park Myung Soo and So Nyeo Shi Dae Jessica will be having a duet song.

It has been known that Park Myung Soo and Jessica will release a song ‘Naeng Myun (Cold noodles)’ as ‘MyungSiCa’. The song is a summer dance song written by E-Tribe who also did So Nyeo Shi Dae’s ‘Gee’.

GDragon was present at SBS Inkigayo to congratulate 2NE1 on 1st Mutizen

News have came late that Big Bang member GDragon had made a surprise appearance on SBS Inkigayo to congratulate 2NE1 on their 1st Mutizen.

2NE1 had won their 1st Mutizen with their debut song ‘Fire’ on SBS Inkigayo on 14th June. This is their 1st #1 after 6 years of training for the members.

On 15th, a staff from Inkigayo said, “GDragon had appeared for 2NE1’s encour performance after winning #1 on the show. He had enjoyed the moment of joy together as senior-junior singers from the same company.”

But the full encore performance was not shown hence viewers were not able to see his appearance.

Jang Yoon Jeong denies rumours for wedding in July, “If we are really doing so, we’ll announce it”

Jang Yoon Jeong’s company had come out to deny the rumours that she and her current boyfriend entertainer Noh Hong Chul will be getting married on 4th July.

Her representative said on the 15th, “Even though we have heard about the rumour, it is not true. We will reveal it officially if it will ever be true, like how we did for their love relationship.”

The representative said, “Because Jang Yoon Jeong is a female entertainer, this posed as a big problem to her. We hope that should rumours will not surface again.”

The 2 had revealed their 1-month long love relationship on 8th June.

Yoon Do Hyun’s YB to declare officially on their American advance

Yoon Do Hyun’s band YB will be taking part in the rock festival ‘2009 Warped Tour’ in America.

YB is one of the names in the musician lineup for the tour which will take place from 26th till 23rd August. YB will be performing from 15th till 23rd August on Kevin Says Stage taking part in 7 concert performances.

The Warp Tour will also feature artistes like No Doubt, Beck, Limp Bizkit, Black Eyed Peas, Bad Religion, Eminem, Green Day, My Chemical Romance etc.

Reason why WonderGirls SunYe was not present for 2AM’s first fanmeeting

Many fans were curious why there were only 4 WonderGirls members present at 2AM’s first fanmeeting on 6th June – YoonBin, YeEun, SunMi and SoHee – and leader SunYe was not present to support the 2AM boys.

The truth is that SunYe had spent that night celebrating her grandmother’s birthday. 6th June was SunYe‘s grandmother’s birthday, and she had requested to be taken off from that schedule that day to celebrate her grandmother’s birthday personally.

SunYe has brought up by her grandmother since young, and she had always felt thankful for her grandmother and aimed to pay back with her filial piety and by working hard on becoming a great singer. Already, previously she had reportedly bought an apartment in Seoul for her grandmother.

The WonderGirls will head to China after finishing their activities in Korea on 11~12th June. And after which they will head back to America again.

Jang Yoon Jeong and Noh Hong Chul are in love

Entertainers Jang Yoon Jeong (29) and Noh Hong Chul (30) are in love.

The whole thing started last October after 2 appeared on SBS Golden Miss togther. With news about the 2 in love had colleagues sending them congratulatory phone calls and messages.

Jang Yoon Jeong‘s company said on the 8th, “Without a boyfriend for 6 years, Jang Yoon Jeong has finally started on a new love relationship. And Noh Hong Chul is sincere about this relationship with her.”

SHINee Onew injured front teeth 2 days before comeback stage

SHINee, who is back as the ’21st century Romeo’, will have to have their comeback postponed as member Onew is injured.

On 19th May, after practice, Onew heading home when he fell from the stairs in his quarters and hurt himself. The doctor-in-charge said, “When he fell from the stairs, his front tooth got dislocated. He will need treatment for 1-2 weeks and his condition needs to be checked.”

SM Entertainment said, “With Onew injured, we will have to postpone SHINee‘s comeback stage. We will decide the comeback stage again, looking at Onew‘s condition.”

Menawhile, SHINee‘s 2nd minialbum title song ‘Juliette’ as revealed on 18th May is doing very well on online music charts.

Music Bank make correction to 2AM’s rank on K Chart

2AM‘s ranking on KBS Music Bank K Chart was suddenly went up by a lot.

The production team to the programme wrote on their homepage on 20th, “For the episode aired on 15th, 2AM‘s song ‘A Friend’s Confession’ was at #21 on the chart. But our mistake lies in that we have omitted out the viewers’ votes for that. Hence 2AM ‘A Friend’s Confession’ is supposed to be at #11.”
