T-ara talks about making their overseas expansion and main focuses for album activities in 2010.
T-ara’s agency said on the 19th, “We’ve had love calls from 8 different countries including Japan, China, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore, but we’ve refused them all. Although T-ara members were busy acting in Korea during last years album and currently are, when the new album is released during the second half of the year we expected to advance overseas but stick mainly to Korean promotions for the time being,” he said.
HyoMin posted a photo of herself transforming (?) member member SoYeon on her Twitter on 3rd August and wrote, “HyoMin whose soul has moved and tranformed into SoYeon unnie’s body..”
Netizens’ comments on the photo are, “What is this?”, “Scary”, etc. Meanwhile, HyoMin is currently working on upcoming SBS drama ‘My Girlfriend is a nine-tailed fox’ alongside actors like Lee SeungGi and Shin MinAh.
T-ara members revealed their first impressions of one another through their recent interview.
On KBS Entertainment Weekly aired on 17th July, the girls get together to spend some fun time together ahead of their debut 1st anniversary. Except for SoYeon, the girls went to a theme park for a guerrilla date with the show MC.
And through questions and answers, it was found out that JiYeon is the member who gave the best first impression and HyoMin was the one who gave the worst for EunJung. EunJung said, “When I first saw JiYeon when she was in high school 3 year, she had long eyebrows and she was pretty like a child. The first impression was good.” And on HyoMin, “Her first impressions and usual features are different. I thought she was a fierce unnie at first impression.”
Today on SBS Inkigayo, group C.N Blue won their 2nd mutizen with their latest hit song ‘Love’. They previously won Mutizen with the song on the show on 20th June.

T-ara SoYeon reveals that she has envy towards So Nyeo Shi Dae.
Recently on cable channel tvN talk show ‘Taxi’, T-ara members were featured and SoYeon said, “When I look at So Nyeo Shi Dae while promoting as T-ara, I have felt envy. When I first debuted, the cheers I have when I perform on stage and the attitude of the staff compared to when I performed with So Nyeo Shi Dae are different and I am envious. I thought to myself if T-ara can be successful quickly, it would be good.”
Meanwhile, SoYeon used to train under SM Entertainment and was also casted to be in So Nyeo Shi Dae but she left the group.
After criticisms against T-ara EunJung for allegedly swearing on broadcast show, member SoYeon is also become the target for such criticisms by netizens.
Netizens have been circulating and posting up video titled ‘T-ara SoYeon swearing video’ on various portal sites. The video was a snippet off ‘T-ara ghost play’. The members have dressed up as ghosts on the show while paying a visit to the filming set for MBC ‘Hon’ drama to prank on the staff.
The snippet features SoYeon walking down a slope and it seems that it was slippery and what sounded like a swear word came out from SoYeon’s mouth.
But T-ara fans defended, “This show was aired last August, and it is being brought up only after half a year because of recent incident involving EunJung”, “It seems like the anti-fans are out to use this sensitive time to cause more criticisms against the girls” etc.
