A poll was conducted for 9 days on online community portal site DCInside from 3rd August till 11th August on ‘Which is the main vocal with the best vocals from female idol groups?” And TaeYeon got voted #1 with 1,725 votes out of 16,639 votes.

f(x) Luna and Brown Eyed Girls Jea are voted #2 and #3 on the survey with 1784 votes and 1114 votes respectively. Other than them, other female idols voted on the survey include 2NE1 Park Bom, SeeYa Kim YeonJi and WonderGirls SunYe.

With that miss A said, “We don’t think of WonderGirls as subject of comparison or competition. WonderGirls is a great girlgroup. We are all like a family. Fans send their condolesences to WonderGirls Sunye who has recently lost her father.

The burial for SunYe’s father was held on 26th June at 6.30am KST in Seoul PoongNapDong. SunYe was seen accompanying her father on his last journey returning to Korea previously on 23rd June after her activities in Singapore.

The WonderGirls members, 2AM Jo Kwon and other colleagues were seen by SunYe’s side until the end of the burial. Fans’ comments are, “I don’t know how to say to comfort her”, “I hope you would not be too sad and be able to stand up strong again”, “Have strength. Your father would love to see you working hard and living well again” etc.

WonderGirls members returned to Korea and will stay with SunYe until the burial day of her late father

It has been revealed that the rest of the WonderGirls members will be staying by Sunye’s side until the burial day of her late father.

An official said on 25th June, “The WonderGirls members have returned to Korea on 25th June. They have all visited the wake of SunYe’s late father and is by her side comforting her. They will stay by her side till the day of burial.”

Initially there are plans for them to hold their public performance in Hawaii on 25th June. And the performance has been delayed till 16th and 17th July. The WonderGirls will start their American tour performances from Vancouver on 29th June.

With the unfateful news of WonderGirls leader SunYe father’s passing earlier today, many Korean celebrities have also attended his wake and paid their last respect.

Some of the celebrities spotted at the wake includes WonderGirls ex-member SunMi, 2AM Jo Kwon, Super Junior DongHae and HeeChul, Park ShinHye and Park KyungRim. The rest of the 2AM and 2PM members are also set to attend the wake.

WG SunYe’s father passed away, JYP reveals current status and future plans for the group

Regarding the passing of Wonder Girls’ leader Sunye’s father today (24th June), JYP Entertainment spoke to the media about her status and what may happen to the Wonder Girl’s future activities.

“Sunye’s father passed away today. Sunye is staying in Korea after finishing her Singapore promotions. She is currently at the funeral home working on funeral preparations.
The members are staying in the U.S because of their tour, but because they can’t take care of Sunye, they are very sorry.”
