Today on MBC Music Core, f(x) Krystal, After School Lizzy and Super Junior EunHyuk were the special one-day MCs on the show.
Some of the highlights to the show today includes 2NE1’s performance of ‘Can’t Nobody’ and ‘Clap Your Hands’, V.O.S with ‘Full Story’ and the goodbye stage for TaeYang with live stage of ‘I’ll Be There’.
A SM Entertainment rep comes out to clarify after it was spotted that Super Junior Lee Teuk and So Nyeo Shi Dae TaeYeon are both wearing the same ear ring.
The representative told the media through phone conversation on 9th September, “They are both wearing similar ear rings. But it is just a coincidence.”
This is the 2nd time that such speculations have surfaced, previously Lee Teuk and TaeYeon were both spotted with the same necklace.
Some netizens commented, “Wearing the same design ear rings at the same period of time – is this really coincidence?”, “Is it not the case that each of them get one of the ear rings?” while there were also some who voiced, “Is that sponsored? There are many celebrities with similar accessories” etc.
There is a male singer who will not shy in a showdown of the beauties with So Nyeo Shi Dae. And he is none other than Super Junior Kim HeeChul.
A photo taken of SNSD YoonA, SeoHyun and Kim HeeChul was posted up on an online community site on 19th August. The 3, who are known to be close with one another as they are from the same agency, was seen with their fair flawless complexion in the photo.
What stood was also HeeChul’s beauty. Even though he is the only guy in the photo, his pretty face was the one which had made him stood out. Netizens’ comments included, “Kim HeeChul is the prettiest”, “If Kim HeeChul dresses up as a female, he will be prettier, not shying in terms of beauty with the SNSD girls” etc.
So Nyeo Shi Dae is gaining great popularity in Japan.
Japan BigLobe Music released the results for a popularity poll on K-pop units on 17th August. During the 4 days the poll was conducted, 33,090 netizens took part. And ranked #1 on the poll is So Nyeo Shi Dae with 61.1% (20,212) of the votes. Following behind are WonderGirls with 29% (9598 votes), Super Junior with 5.2% (1717 votes), SHINee with 2.9% (944) and BEAST with 1.3% (417 votes) of the votes.
Biglobe Music said, “So Nyeo Shi Dae has earned the popularity amongst the young females in their 10s~20s. They get good reviews for their song, dance and fashion style.”
Super Junior HanKyung talks about the reason to why he got into a legal disagreement with his agency SM Entertainment, “It was because I was put through great stress and I even wanted to commit suicide.”
HanKyung appeared on a Taiwanese program ‘Song ChunHwa Life Show’ on 17th August where he said, “The reason why I sued SM was because of the great stress I was put through and I even thought of suicide.”
With that, the MC said, “Your father sent a letter from Beijing.” In the letter, even though all that was written was just greetings, the great love from his father can be felt. Part of the letter went, “Have your flu recovered? Take care of your body. I know my son is going through a hard time. But think of your fans and endure.”

C.N Blue is known to have surpassed SS501 to be #1 for Taiwanese G-Music weekly music chart for their 1st week of August (6th~12th August) with ‘Bluetory’. Super Junior and SS501 are at #2 and #3 with ‘Bona Mana’ and ‘Kokoro’
‘Bluetory’ is also doing very well up on Five Music Chart for their same period. A FNC Music representative said, “Being able to go up to the #1 spot and also surpassing popular groups like SS501 and Super Junior, is not only C.N Blue’s wish but also proof that they will be able to achieve possibly better results in the Chinese music market as a Hallyu star to come.”

So Nyeo Shi Dae is known to have brought in total sales of 47.5billion KRW in just the first half of this year.
This is according to SM Entertainment on 16th August that the girls have brought in total sales of 47.5B KRW and 18.6B KRW in operating profit. There is an 59% increased in sales as compared to the sale period last year and 385% increase in profits as compared to the sam e period last year for the girls.
Other singers like BoA, Super Junior, SHINee and f(x) from SM Entertainment has brought in more profits for the company due to being more active in music markets overseas. It seems that So Nyeo Shi Dae has filled the space as the main profit achiever for SM Entertainment after 3 members left the group Dong Bang Shin Ki in a disagreement with the company last August.
