SuJu Lee Teuk and SNSD TaeYeon spotted with same ear rings – SM rep, “It is just a coincidence”

A SM Entertainment rep comes out to clarify after it was spotted that Super Junior Lee Teuk and So Nyeo Shi Dae TaeYeon are both wearing the same ear ring.

The representative told the media through phone conversation on 9th September, “They are both wearing similar ear rings. But it is just a coincidence.”

This is the 2nd time that such speculations have surfaced, previously Lee Teuk and TaeYeon were both spotted with the same necklace.

Some netizens commented, “Wearing the same design ear rings at the same period of time – is this really coincidence?”, “Is it not the case that each of them get one of the ear rings?” while there were also some who voiced, “Is that sponsored? There are many celebrities with similar accessories” etc.

Rainbow JiSook is lookalike to SNSD TaeYeon?

Rainbow member JiSook garners interests with her resemblance to So Nyeo Shi Dae TaeYeon.

Both TaeYeon and JiSook are known for their fair complexion, and they have similar facial features. And there are even some who questioned, “Are they twins by any chance?”. Many netizens have also posted up photos of comparison for the 2 idol singers.

JiSook has garnered much popularity even when she first debut. JiSook herself also revealed during a broadcast program, “When I saw TaeYeon on TV, I myself was so shocked how alike we look.”

SNSD TaeYeon voted as the female idol singer with the best vocals

So Nyeo Shi Dae TaeYeon is picked as the female idol group member with the best vocals.

A poll was conducted for 9 days on online community portal site DCInside from 3rd August till 11th August on ‘Which is the main vocal with the best vocals from female idol groups?” And TaeYeon got voted #1 with 1,725 votes out of 16,639 votes.

f(x) Luna and Brown Eyed Girls Jea are voted #2 and #3 on the survey with 1784 votes and 1114 votes respectively. Other than them, other female idols voted on the survey include 2NE1 Park Bom, SeeYa Kim YeonJi and WonderGirls SunYe.

WooYoung and TaeYeon to leave KBS WinWin as MCs

So Nyeo Shi Dae TaeYeon and 2PM WooYoung will leave KBS 2TV WinWin as MCs.

This is according to a KBS representative that the 2 will be leaving as MCs on the show for the time being.

The representative revealed on 28th July, “TaeYeon and WooYoung will leave the show as MCs and we are currently seeing to their leaving of the show.”

TaeYeon will be joining the rest of the So Nyeo Shi Dae members for their Japanese activities while WooYoung will also join 2PM for their group activities.

So Nyeo Shi Dae TaeYeon criticised for showing the finger?

With criticisms aimed at So Nyeo Shi Dae TaeYeon in a video released showing her swearing fingers, fans voiced unfairness for the singer.

A video was posted up on internet community site Bestiz recently and subsequently netizens have circulated and posted the video on various other video sites, garnering much interests.

The video was from a radio show which TaeYeon did with gagwoman Kim ShinYoung a year ago and in the video, TaeYeon did what seemed like swearing with a finger. And this had garnered heated debate between netizens.

Fans’ responses are, “They were drawing emoticon and Kim ShinYoung didn’t understand and TaeYeon was just trying to explain to her” while some netizens commented, “How can she make such a gesture on broadcast show” etc.

SuJu ShinDong-SNSD TaeYeon, idols also want to speak their minds

Does idols always have to follow the concept of being mysterious? And hence there is the misjudgement that a celebrity should live not saying the things he/she wants to say.

But recently we see idols slowly opening up to the idea of voicing their thoughts on reality programs, showing the true side of them.

We have ShinDong who openly proposed to his girlfriend and TaeYeon who was brave enough to speak up for a better environment for singers. Super Junior ShinDong came clean on a variety show recently about his girlfriend, his plans to get married with her and even did a propose on national TV recently. This is unlike what idols normally do, openly showing their love.

SNSD TaeYeon chosen as the most anticipated ‘variety show MC idol’

So Nyeo Shi Dae TaeYeon is chosen as the #1 idol most anticipated as ‘variety idol’.

On community portal site DC Inside, a survey was done from 22nd till 29th June and the question was asked to netizens on ‘Most anticipated variety idol as variety MC’. Out of the total of 29,151 votes, about 8,319 (28.5%) went to So Nyeo Shi Dae TaeYeon.

TaeYeon is known for her great speaking and variety sense through her various variety shows appearances including being the DJ on MBC radio ‘TaeYeon’s ChinChin’ radio show which ended previously in April. During her time on the radio show, TaeYeon has remained #1 for the listener rate during her show’s time slot. She is currently MC-ing on KBS 2TV WinWin.
