CNN names the ‘South Korea’s 20 hottest male celebs’

Jang DongGun, Bae YongJoon, Joo JinMo, Jo InSung are some of the Korean artistes picked by American CNN as ‘South Korea’s 20 hottest male celebs’.

The list was revealed through an online bulletin board on 2nd July. CNN wrote, ” These specially chosen South Korean celebs, who we’ve selected purely on the basis of how much drool they elicited from the female members of our staff, no doubt have solid acting, modeling and/or singing skills. But it’s their chocolate abs, sublime faces and lean, mean, sex-machine bodies that get them a place on this list.”

At #1 on the list is Jang DongGun and CNN introduces him as Even though he was recently stolen away from us by the annoyingly beautiful actress Ko So-Young, the recently married flame has been sizzling up screens for over a decade…He first leaped into our hearts with his breakout role in the 1994 drama “The Final Jump” and the 2000 movie “Friends” established him as truly ‘watchable’.”

With the Korean entertainment scene waking up to shocking news of the death of Hallyu star Park YongHa on 30th June, many stars have also appeared to pay their last respects to the star at his funeral.

GDragon is 1 of the 8 Korean artistes picked on Chinese list of ‘Earth’s 50 Most Beautiful People for year 2009’

In a recent Chinese list for the “Earth’s 50 Most Beautiful People for year 2009” revealed, Big Bang GDragon was picked at #28 for his charisma on stage out of 8 Korean artistes on the list. Michael Jackson and Lady Gaga are tied for #1.

Gong Yoo set to be released from military duties

Another upcoming army release! Get ready to welcome back Coffee Prince actor Gong Yoo — while fellow actor Chun Jung-myung was released today, Gong Yoo will be discharged on December 8. Both enlisted at the height of their popularity last year, and the fan love is still going strong as they prepare for the their returns.

Gong Yoo enlisted on January 2, 2008, when he was still riding high from the high praise he received for his role in Coffee Prince. While he’d had lead roles before, that was the one that garnered him a solid reputation as a strong actor. Already he is being targeted with “love calls” (calls of interest for possible projects) for his comeback project from as diverse genres as romantic comedies and thrillers.

Korean-Japanese lookalike stars: DaeDae look-alike!

I had fun looking through photos of Korean stars today and I found this comparison of Korean and Japanese stars who looked alike. And I saw Big Bang DaeSung in it. He was being compared with Nakao Akiyoshi, and I was really teased by how cute they both look. ^^
