2NE1 to release 1st full length album ‘To Anyone’ on 9th September

2NE1 will be back with a new album on 9th September.

YG Entertainment posted a message on 17th August, “2NE1 will release their full length 1st album on 9th September. There will be 12 songs in total in the album, and the album will be titled ‘To Anyone’. Of the 12 songs, 6 songs are new songs, 4 songs are from their previously-released digital singles and 2 songs are bonus tracks.”

“There will be 3 songs assigned as the title songs and the girls will promote them at the same time. As a music producer, even though I’ve heard of a double title song, this will be the first time I hear about 3 songs as the title songs. Everyone will get to learn about them in a while.”

Yang HyunSeok’s daughter Yang YooJin revealed!

A photo of YG Entertainment representative Yang HyunSeok’s newborn daughter YooJin has been revealed.

Yang HyunSeok revealed through his message posted on YG Entertainment official homepage on 17th August about TaeYang and 2NE1’s upcoming activities and plans. He also added, “A few days ago, I became a dad. My daughter’s name is Yang YooJin. Even though it has been over 10 days, it still don’t feel real. And I sincerely thank everyone who has sent their well wishes.”

2NE1 is working with Will.I.Am for their American debut!

Just 1 year into their debut, girlgroup 2NE1 will be working with Will.I.Am. music producer and the leader of group Black Eyed Peas for their American music market debut.

Yang HyunSeok revealed on 17th August, “2NE1 has been working with music producer Will.I.Am for the past few months. Through a close acquaintance, we were given the chance to show Will.I.Am 2NE1’s MV and after seeing the MV, Will.I.Am said he wanted to do music production for 2NE1 for their American debut.”

“2NE1 and Will.I.Am has been working on the music production on 3 windows for about 3 weeks in cities like L.A and London and currently they have finished recording about 10 songs.”

Se7en was not scouted by Yang HyunSeok?

Coming back after 3 years plus into the Kpop music scene, Se7en was recently featured for an interview with SBS E!TV ‘E! News Korea – Star Q10 – Legend of Idol’.

Se7en was recently back with his new album ‘Digital Bounce’ and labeled ‘legend-dol’ for his long-awaited comeback in 2010. It was revealed that Se7en started being a trainee at the age of 16 years old. But who was the one who discovered him? To many, it had seemed natural that YG Yang HyunSeok was the one who scouted him.

But there was someone who had introduced Se7en to Yang HyunSeok. And that person the main character ‘MiAe’ in ‘CheolIe and MiAe’. Se7en had lived next door to MiAe and had always visited at her training room to play, and she had introduced Se7en to Yang HyunSeok after seeing him practise.

After hearing unique words of congratulations from those around him, Yang Hyunsuk who has just become a father is becoming even happier.

On the 6th, Yang Hyunsuk reported to Money Today Star News “(Lee) Eunjoo gave birth to our daughter at 2:01PM yesterday.”, “After hearing this news, several people around me said to me ‘Seeing as your daughter was born at 2:01, it seems like 2NE1 will do even better in the future’, I was really overjoyed hearing people say this.”

YGE representative Yang HyunSeok becomes a father of a healthy baby girl with Lee EunJoo on 5th Aug

YG Entertainment representative Yang HyunSeok is known to have become a father of a healthy baby girl weighing 2.78kg at birth at 2.01pm on 5th August.

This is before his marriage with lover Lee EunJoo. It has been relayed that Yang HyunSeok is really excited about welcoming the baby and is staying by Lee EunJoo’s side.

Known to have been working out often and manages her body well, it took her just 10 minutes in labour before the baby was delivered. Both the mother and the baby are in healthy state.

Yang HyunSeok relayed through a YG representative, “It still don’t feel like real. I will work hard to raise the baby. Really thankful to those who sent their well wishes.”

TaeYang’s solo concert to be postponed, new international release album on 19th August

YG Entertainment representative Yang HyunSeok announces the postpone of TaeYang’s upcoming concert.

He posted up an announcement on YGE homepage on 2nd August about TaeYang who is currently promoting ‘I Need A Girl’ and also his upcoming concert.

He wrote, “TaeYang will end the promotions for this song ‘I Need A Girl’ on MBC Music Core on 14th August. And coming 19th August, there will be a new album release.”

According to representative Yang, the new album will be an international release album. And the album will include 2 new songs never released in TaeYang’s earlier album. And the title song will be ‘I’ll Be There’ composed and written by Teddy. There will also be English version of ‘Wedding Dress’ included.

YG Yang HyunSeok talks about Se7en’s attempt to advance into the American music scene.

Se7en had a comeback celebration party in a club in CheongDamDong on 20th July. Yang HyunSeok who was also present told the reporters, “There is rumours saying that Se7en’s American debut being a failure but we are not going to deny it. But advancing into the American music scene is harder than we thought. As compared to visible results, we would still take up the challenge for a try at it even if the chances of failure is 99%. Under such circumstances, we see it that there is no use to discuss whether it was a success or failure.”
