Bae Seul Gi is an old ugly grandmother in Lunatic

Bae Seul Gi has decided to take up the challenge to try acting in musical – as a grandmother.

Bae Seul Gi acted as Go Dok Hae in the musical ‘Lunatic’ which started on 8th July in Seoul Sejong Center for the Performing Arts.

The ‘Go Dok Hae’ whom Bae Seul Gi played as was a 60-years-odd paranoid grandmother, who worries about the money that she hid away in her secret place. This is a big change for Bae Seul Gi to change from a 22-year-old lady to an old granny.

The director and staff to the musical have all sang praises about Bae Seul Gi regarding her good adaptability to doing musical, and how she has not shy away or feel awkward with all the makeup that transformed her into an old person.

The musical will end off on 24th July.

SHINee has been chosen to model for uniform brand SMART.

A SMART brand representative said, “SHINee is popular amongst the teenagers. They are leading and looked upon as the icon for music and fashion amongst the teenagers.”

The advertisement to the boys’ endorsement will be revealed in August.
