Amidst the discord between the Dong Bang Shin Ki trio and their agency SM Entertainment, Avex Japan posted up an announcement on 14th April announcing that the trio will promote as an unique unit.
Meanwhile, news have came in today that SM Entertainment will be filing a lawsuit against the trio claiming 2.2 billion KRW following the news that they will be filing for an appeal against the provisional decision for the trio’s lawsuit against the company last July.

Meanwhile, SM Entertainment revealed more about their appeal case against the trio:
The discord started with part of the Dong Bang Shin Ki members investing in a cosmetic enterprise. They had violated the terms of their contract with us by using the name ‘Dong Bang Shin Ki’ and publicity for the enterprise, and they have argued against and denied the exclusive contract terms and filed for provisional disposition.
In the process of the lawsuit, the schedule of the group could not be carried out as usual, and this has also caused harm to the remaining 2 members. We want to request for confirmation for the presence of the exclusive contract terms with the 3 members and claim at least 2.2 billion KRW from them for the loss due to their modelling for the cosmetic brand and the cancellation of the ShimCheon concert.

Well, there is a definite pattern that has developed over time, and every single time something like this has happened, it has always been with finances.
In my opinion, this whole thing is stupid. Everyone is acting like children, JYJ, HoMin, SME, everyone. Someone just needs to go up and give them all a slap to remind them to behave like adults.

What I’m seeing is that many fans are supporting JaeSuChun more because their views and voices are heard more than Ho and Min. Personally, I don’t feel bad for anyone. I feel bad that they all just can’t be together. People are saying that what DBSK is doing is hurting them and that they’re sad and crap, but what about THEM? Think about how the boys dealing with this. They’re the ones in pain. If they can go through it fine, you should be able to. So stop choosing sides and stop being biased. They’re still DBSK no matter what.
It’s interesting how the supposedly ‘manlier’ members of TVXQ, are the ones who don’t have the balls to stand up to sm’s mistreatment. Everyone, including those who support jyj, acts as if those 2 are passive bystanders. They’re not. They’ve picked their side. And it’s with sm.
I understand that a lot of people want them to regroup. And this late in the game, it will still be fine if homin decide to join jyj. But if they wait till the trio win the lawsuit to leave sm, I’ll lose the little respect I have left for them.
Those 2 really really need to grow a pair. Seriously.

I’m too sad. I hope this All works out somehow. Either way, nobody knows the true detail except sm and the trio. I’ll still support all 5 in whatever they do.

I wonder why most of the Cassies support JaeChunSu? I get it that they don’t like SM, but HoMin is still there and for some reason choose to stay there. The contract for the two shouldn’t be an excuse since the trio also had a contract (which they sign btw) and still wants out.
I’m sorry to say this to Cassies, but its clearly that the trio wants out of SM no matter what agreement nor compromise SM will try to do.
The one I feel bad the most is Changmin. He practically grew up around them. The baby of the group. Being in this group and singing is all what he knew or does while growing up. So to suddenly be pulled away from that and not even because of his own doing must be painful. No wonder he’s so thin right now.
I wish all of them good luck. To be honest though I’d rather see them as a solo artist than the trio or a duo in concert.

I agreed with many of the personal comments and insights regarding the Trio against SME vs. Duo with SME. I believe SME’s management probably does not know how to treat their artists as human beings with respect, always view them as an investment and product. This company is good with recruiting and creating great talents. With that said, in order for DBSK to be whole again, it has to be the Duo going to the Trio, and not the other way, because once you file a lawsuit against any management, and decided to return, you will never get a fair treatment. Just say the Trio decided to return to SME and create a new contract, you know at heart that SME will not act the same toward the Trio vs. the Duo. In the end, DBSK will split up due to favoritism.

I’ve nvr spoke abt this topic ever since the start of the lawsuit though I’m a fan of ’em. But this news is one great one to me. I don’t know how e others take it, but honestly e 3 of em (JaeChunSu) have to move on in order to save e other 2.
They can’t be sticking at e same spot w/o moving. If so, thr’ll be no progress at all and SM will definitely take this chance to take em down (if you get what I mean).
They’ve won half of e lawsuit which quite directly gave em freedom so they have e right to move on and by so, fans will keep having e faith for ’em.
We really don’t know what’s going on btw SM and HoMin, but I believe in e trio for fighting for their freedom and rights. Which means HoMin are e same w/ em, it’s just that perhaps it’s not e right time for e 2.
I used to doubt HoMin ’cause they never speak up. But then again, looking at e hardships that they’ve gone through… Even if one were to change, e fact that they’re brothers who have gone through sooooooo much to reach to e peak will not change.
I believe e 5 of em is doing whatever they could and that e pause for e 5’s activity is a start towards something.. I heard rumor about SNSD n HoMin signing contract under universal. if it’s true then they will be under the same company with Big Bang.

I agree SME is the problem, not DBSK. Hopefully, DBSK will survive the obstacle that is SME, just as Shinwa overcame them.
It’s hard to support all, while you love all 5.. and sometimes you have your own bias. It’s hard when the members themselves are taking separate ways. Other 2 is in Korea, the other 3 is in Japan. One want to be in SME, one want to escape from SME. See the ways that have been divided into 2 now? Even your heart is separated into too. Don’t deny it because it’s now The Trio and The Duo. People even call them that way now. You can tell they chose to take that path. SME can separate them, but they know themselves, they can unite if they want. but… yeah.
If they have a concert at the same time, no matter what you have to take side. You have to choose Korea (the duo) or Japan (the trio) or just don’t go both (but this is no longer a form of support, as they’ll loss all their investment and they have to cover it themselves) This is just my example. At one point, you’ll have to take side…
and I’m not surprised if Changmin and Yunho will be called to court and face the trio if the court decided to ask them, “why they want to stay in the company and don’t file the lawsuit while they’re in the same group, same company, having the same contract.” Then you’ll realize how much you can stand with this.
Certainly we don’t know who is right, who is wrong, but we have our own life too right? I’m just disappointed with “Always Keep The Faith”
