I’ve received a notifciation from sg_bigbang.livejournal.com on the project to bring Big Bang to Singapore to meet all the Kpoppers and SG VIPs here.
We’ve seen the success of the similar project done by SG Prima Donnas in bringing down FT Island, and being there personally myself at FT Island’s Singapore showcase it was a blast.

Dong Bang Shin Ki has risen up to #1 position on Japanese Oricon daily chart with the song ‘Stand By U’ released in Japan on 1st July. And in just 5 days, it has gone up to the #1 position on Oricon daily chart
They had overtaken popular group Arashi’s new single and went up to the #1 position.
Dong Bang Shin Ki has been recently called to have hit the ‘triple 3′ with 30K album copies sold for their single, and also for their recent full length album, plus they hit 30K number of fans present for their Japanese concert tour. They also rewrote history by being the 1st Korean artiste to perform at the Tokyo Dome on 4th and 5th July for their finale Japanese concert tour performances.
Meanwhile, the group is set to be performing on a-nation concert from 1st August.
Singer Yang Jeong Seung has released his new single album ‘Love’ and started on promoting the title song ‘Tears’.
‘Tears’, together with other song ‘Don’t Go’, are officially released on various music sites like Melon and Soribada on 6th July. Yang Jeong Seung has produced many hit songs for singers like Jo Sung Mo and KCM, and he had debuted as a singer officially last year.

M Lee MinWoo spends 6 million KRW on laser effects for comeback stageShinHwa M Lee MinWoo has returned with a perfect comeback stage. On 5th July on SBS Inkigayo, he had his first performance of ‘Minovation’ the title song off his 4.5th album.
Accompanied with his great performance to the catchy beat of the song that day is also a ‘laser beam glove’ he had on. One of such laser beam costs 1.5 million KRW and 4 of them were used on the glove for the stage that day.
M’s fans have also commented after the performance, “It’s good to see him improve and develop as an artiste. Looking forward to more by him in the future”, “This album totally shows the true M colours” etc

Girl group So Nyeo Shi Dae’s comeback hit ‘Tell Me Your Wish’ occupying the #1 spots on various music weekly charts.
SM Entertainment said on the 6th, “So Nyeo Shi Dae’s ‘Tell Me Your Wish’ is #1 on ringer tone charts, after being #1 on various music and album charts. This is indeed going to be their 6th consecutive hit.”
The song is up #1 on Melon, Dosirak, Mnet, Bugs music charts for the 1st week of July. Also the song is 31 on SKT ringer tone weekly chart, and HanTeo weekly chart.
The girls have also received much love for their new dance choreography with their comeback like ‘kicking the feather’ dance, ‘beautiful leg line’ and ‘Miss Korea’ dance steps.
Meanwhile, the girls continue to promote the song on various music programmes.
A new girlgroup groomed by ShinHwa Eric will debut this year end.
A representative said on the 6th, “We are currently preparing for the debut of a girlgroup which Eric worked hard in grooming.”
“Eric has given in a lot, including working for this new girlgroup’s album, for the debut of his hoobae girlgroup. We are targeting for them to debut this year end. We are still deciding on whether to make this a 4-member or 5-member group.”
Eric is known to be the talented rapper and dancer in ShinHwa, and much anticipation is into how this girlgroup will be like with his grooming. To add on, being the hoobae (juniors) of one of Korea’s biggest pop legend group ShinHwa would sure help this girl group with a good headstart.
Meanwhile, Eric is currently serving his military service, he had joined the military service last October.
Shinhwa’s Lee Minwoo and Big Bang’s GDragon have not held in their praises for rookie girl group 2NE1.
Lee Minwoo who has come back in 8 months with his 4.5 album Minnovation had an interview with Joy News 24 and has revealed that 2NE1 caught his interest.
Lee Minwoo said of 2NE1 “the good thing about them is that they are different. The force they have is different. You can see their passion for music, their energy on stage seems like they have had lots of experience on stage before. He also said, “their charms are overwhelming and their colours are like a chameleons.”

2PM is the 1st foreign artistes group to meet up directly with the Thai prime minister.
2PM was invited to be the representative for foreign artistes for a local campaign called ‘I Love Thailand’. And on 3rd July, they met up with the Thai prime minister Abhisit Vejjajiva parliament building.
2PM has received much popularity and fans on their trip to Thailand this time, and even before that, their albums are shooting off music and albums charts there in Thailand. And Thai member Nich Khun is also one of the more popular members there.

Brown Eyed Girls’ comeback 2nd teaser video has been revealed, this time featuring member GaIn.
The video features GaIn with a femme fatale sexy image, different from the 1st teaser featuring member Narsha. It was said that the filming of GaIn floating on the water took more than 12 hours, and it was really tiring but the results were great.
Meanwhile, the girls’ comeback song will be revealed on 13th July with comeback concept ‘City’.
Many were curious to why singer YangPa did not perform on SBS Inkigayo on 5th July even though she did participate in the rehearsal.
For her comeback stage, her face was covered throughout the whole performance on stage. But Inkigayo staff has demanded for her to remove her black scarf during the performance deeming that it may be inappropriate.
YangPa’s side has insisted that it is part of the concept but the 2 sides could not come down to an agreement and in the end YangPa did not perform on Inkigayo.
YangPa’s comeback song ‘Soul’ is the theme song for the upcoming drama ‘Soul’ to be aired on MBC coming August. Because of this, they wanted to create a horror effect by having YangPa to wear a dark veil on her face during the performance to give a mystical feeling.
While on YangPa’s side, they had explained YangPa’s absence on Inkigayo as, “She was unwell and did not perform.”
Dong Bang Shin Ki talks about their feelings with the end of their Japanese concert tour. The group had their last Japanese concert tour performance on 4th and 5th at the Tokyo Dome. The concert tour saw more than 300,000 audience present at the concert performances, and had brought it more than 40 billion KRW in production costs.
Dong Bang Shin Ki said, “We had more concert performances than from last year but it ended much faster then we thought. We were very excited about experiencing the different food and culture at the different places we went.”
“It still feels very real to us, the concert. Especially the finale performance at Tokyo Dome, we can still feel the after effect of it. We are really touched as we had talked about performing at the Tokyo Dome between the members when we first advanced into Japan.”
