Big Bang, “We wish to appear on NHK Red & White Songfest”

Group Big Bang, which is currently working on advancing into the Japan major music industry and revealed that they wish to appear on the annual NHK Red&White Songfest. They were at their press conference in Japan Tokyo Grand Hyatt Hotel on 13th May when they said, “Seonbae (senior) group Dong Bang Shin Ki had appeared on NHK Red & White Songfest. We will also work hard so that we can participate in it too.”

Just last year, the group released 3 albums in Japan. And on 24th June, they will release a new single ‘My Heaven’ under Universal. And after which, on 8th July they will have a large scale fan event in Tokyo Yoyogi stadium.

2AM ends activities for ‘A Friend’s Confession’

Group 2AM will end the activities for their single ‘A Friend’s Confession’ on SBS Inkigayo on 17th May.

JYP Entertainment said, “2AM will end their promotional activities this weekend. But only their singing activities will stop, their other activities on broadcast programmes will continue.”

Super Junior ShinDong gets into a minor car accident

sd_140509Super Junior ShinDong driving in his van in Seoul SongPaGoo in front of Pearl Apartment when his van collided with a bicycle on the morning of 14th May at 2.35am.

The side mirror to ShinDong‘s car was damaged while the cyclist’s wrist was injured. According to the police, the cyclist may have been drunk during the time of accident.

It is said that ShinDong was in shock, and after the accident he went to the police station and left his statements.

    Learn to take criticism towards your favorite artists.

    Thanks to BoA and DBSK, they are paving their way to success in Japan, making it easier for other Korean groups to make it big in Japan. I hope Big Bang becomes successful, but it’s going to take years.

      ^ Agreed. If they want to become really successful in Japan, they have to overcome the language barrier and leave Korea. They can’t have both.

      (And their cocky attitude will get them nowhere in Japan.)
