A while back, photo of Park Han Byul and Se7en, said to be supposed couple photo, were leaked out from Park Han Byul‘s minihompy.
This came as shocking as the 2 had denied their love relationship all along. Their companies have also insisted that they were just close friends.
Recently on 18th May, Park Han Byul wrote an entry on her minihompy about the incident, saying, “living the life of an entertainer is so tiring…”

You guys say it like it’s easy to deal with netizens as a celebrity/entertainer. I personally feel like we don’t have the right to say anything unless we’ve been through it ourselves. And even so, every situation is different. Some people are able to handle the stress more than others and they’re still humans, even if they’re celebrities. They still have emotions of feeling helpless, attacked, and it’s through their Cyworld or blog that they express their feelings. Regardless of them dating or not, it’s their business. if she really wanted their relationship to be known she should have talked about it with se7en and worked things out…instead of leaking these pics and getting caught…and then making up a blog to get sympathy.

I don’t think it’s necessarily true that you can quit being an entertainer. Once under the radar, always under the radar…people can’t really escape from media. It’s not like one day you decide to stop being a celebrity, you can suddenly get your freedom back.
And I think it’s pretty harsh to say that you don’t pity them. Sure, they chose to become a celebrity but having your privacy taken away from you is a very unfortunate thing…you can’t really judge them unless you’ve been in their shoes, much like how you can’t judge anyone in general unless you’ve been in their position.

Eh.. dont celebs rely on attention? If a celeb was to say “ignore me and move on with your own life”, that would be asking for their career to end.
I’m not trying to support it, but if we were to not care about what celebs do, we wouldnt be having these news blogs if we were to “not care what celebs do but get on with our own life” and it’d be bad for celebs if no one knew about them.

of course being an entertainer is hard. so is life. when life gets hard isn’t it helpful to express how you feel? isn’t a minihompy like a diary to express your thoughts and feelings? i believe that’s exactly what she’s doing here, just saying how she feels. she never said she regretted becoming an entertainer. she’s just lonely because of the consequences. it’s like she’s just reaching out to whomever listens, in the words she’s “allowed to use,” since what she really wants to say, her management won’t let her…
Have to agree with all the comments above mine. Being an entertainer is hard, yeah. We all know that. But you chose this life, you chose this career path, and you’ve just got to go along with the bad parts of it, too.
The only thing that we CAN say is bad, though, is that most entertainers are sucked in at such an early age (early teens or even elementary school age) that they don’t really know what they’re getting into until it’s too late. Having said that, it’s always possible to back out if you really wanted to.
Also, yeah, it’s horrible if these companies really are controlling your personal life so much. I thought that it was kind of common knowledge in the K-pop business, though.
Such are the reasons why I’ve never considered becoming a singer or actor/actress. Sorry, but I can’t live my life for fans – it’s just too much of a burden!

If that’s true I think it’s terrible that companies can dictate the kind of relationships entertainers choose to have. I understand companies denying rumors if the couple wants to keep things under wraps for whatever reason, but in the case that the couple wants to come out in the open, they should be allowed to. I mean the general idea is that they are employed and not enslaved by these companies, I would think.
And I don’t think entertainers should hide their love lives for the sake of fans. I mean seriously, fangirls/boys are deluded plain and simple when they don’t want their favorite idol to get involved with someone because they think they & the idol are destined for each other. Yes, deluded and not to mention selfish. Basically idols/entertainers are people too. They aren’t here just to sing and act cute for you. They are here to make themselves a happy life and they want to share their love and lives with a special someone just like the rest of us. Saying it’s tiring as an entertainer is really something I can’t pitify. Every job is hard! And being famous has its price, and the price is ur privacy. If you think you can’t do it, then quit it. Many people quit their jobs simply because it’s tough. You are still holding on to it because you still want fame, and if you still want it, pay the price = no privacy.
Yes, whoever leaked that picture out was not nice. I felt bad for them, especially her when I see those pictures, but hearing these words from her I really dont feel bad for her or pitiful toward her like i used to.

yes you do give up your right to privacy. most if not all entertainment companies in korea have some sort of a control over their stars including who they’re dating, what they’re doing, etc. im not sure about saying “fans who don’t have much going on” even if fans did have “much going on” they would probably still pay attention to these kind of posts. their interesting because they allow us to see what stars are behind the scenes. I’m not saying she deserves any of this treatment with her pictures being put on the net and all, but its just kind of expected…
