2PM‘s largest fanclub is planning for a silent protest in front of JYP building coming 12th September.
Written on 2PM‘s official fanclub ‘Hot Star’ site on 10th September, there are discussions for fanclub members to do the silent protest in front of JYP’s building on 12th September.
This fanclub is the largest 2PM fanclub in Korea with over 200,000 members and they will head down directly to JYP’s building for the protest.
They will start the protest from 2pm. They will protest in silent in their large numbers. They recognize that there may be some inconveniences cause to the residents living in the area but stated they will carry out the protest seriously.
A netizen said, “What is important is to do it for JaeBum’s good image. We have to find a way for him to come back while always supporting him.”
But another netizens also said, “This is doing harm to JaeBum, you guys should not go. If it doesn’t go well, it will just make more ugly talk about the issue.”
The members will also be holding placards saying, “Find JaeBum” in unified colours that day.
Meanwhile, JaeBum has left 2PM and also Korea on 8th September, 4 days after the backlashes from the revelation of his pre-debut messages posted on MySpace.
Park Jin Young also issued an official statement on 10th September and some fans are also doing up a boycott movement against JYP.

I’ve been keeping quiet for LONG ENOUGH! I set up this fan page as a friend of Jay. There is some few statement i need to clarify
1. Jay is being pressured to leave 2pm. I wouldnt use the word “forced” as “pressured” is more appropriate dont make me go in details on this.
2. MOST of the members of 2pm are quietly supporting on the boycott actions that K-hotties are doing now. One of the member told me WooYoung Cyworld message is to hint the Khotties to continue the boycott and fight for Jay, coz they (2pm members) also has been told not to back up Jay.
3. Jay’s wound is healing on the previous days until JYP came out with another statement yesterday, which makes him fell into depression again. Please dont leave message such as : JAY PLEASE COME BACk!. PROBLEM IS HE WANTS TO BUT HE CANT!

I agree that this is really really getting out of hand… *sigh* I love 2PM (Jay the most) and I also wish for him to come back but I don’t think that now is the right time. Things are still hot there in Korea based on whatever updates I’ve been getting… Jae just got out of the fire and just throwing him back into it won’t help at all. Jae did promise to come back and I am believing in his word, he’ll come back when he is ready.
Boycotting JYPE seems ridiculous (and believe me I have tried thinking of excuses just to make it seem right)… 2PM is not just Jaebum… the other fans are just hurting the already affected 6 other members. Jae left because he does not want this issue to hurt his brothers because he is the LEADER of the group.

I actually do agree with the action that the fans are doing.

Guys, I don’t mean to spread rumors, just that I read from Baidu (chinese site) that thing isn’t simple like we all thought. A chinese fan who has some connection with JYP staffs makes claims that Jaebeom was forced to quit by the top management.

From his friend’s statement, I can definitely tell something is wrong. Initially, I was not very supportive of this JYP boycott but now I can totally understand the intention of korean hottests. Ok I feel it necessary to present another side of the story here since u guys blame these korean fans for starting this boycott movement. I think it’s unfair to them.They live there and understand the korean culture more than we do. The only positive thing I can get out of this article is that there are members who have differing views in regards to the silent protest.

I really miss Jay and I really want him to return. BUT. The only way he should return is when he’s ready to return. That way, I won’t feel guilty for “forcing” him back. That way, he’s returning because he’s become a stronger person.

Now that Jaebum has found what he was looking for – his identity, his motherland, his “Korean family” – he needs to return home. And home is America where he grew up. Living in Korea for the past years was all just a growing experience and now that he has matured, he must return home. I’m glad there is so much support for him but the thing he needs most right now is his family and time. Let him rest and be at peace.

Have anyone, other than me wonder why Jay wrote what he did? Maybe the people there aren’t really that nice, instead are very hostile. Sometime when I look at the reality shows or self cam on the artists (singer, actor, etc…), they really don’t seem too nice to foreigners (American born Koreans, Americans, and etc.) I just have this odd feeling that Jay wrote those things because they did give him a lot of pressure.

Totally agreeing with you on this point. Actually I thought about this a lot too and even before I sleep this situation never left my mind.
I thought that I wanted Jay to come back. But thinking that if I am Jaebum, and after the controversies surrounding me, can I perform on stage just like nothing wrong is happening? After knowing that many people wanted me to get out of the country or wanting me to kill myself? I don’t think so. Jay said it himself.
It would be really, really hard for Jay to just come back. He needs TIME. Time for change. hehe.
Much as I want Jay to go back he needs the time and in the solitude of his family to reflect and heal.
