Catching attention of the netizens recently is the office-home where SM Entertainment’s President, Lee SooMan (age 57) is residing in.

Lets just say, it’s located in KangNam… (aka. Korean Beverly Hills).

The office-home that Lee SooMan resides in is located in KangNam, and is one of the luxury-est (?) building there.

The building itself is composed of 23 floors, where each floor the sizes range from 55 ~ 118 (average Korean houses : 20’s). The biggest floor, 118, has a set payment of 200,000 and a payment of 9,000~ 10,000 in a month.

A view of Han Kang River is accessible and the furniture are mainly imported from Germany, USA, and Sweden. Lee SooMan is assumed to live in the 15th floor, room numbers 1504 and 1505.

Supposedly, this office-home is also supposed to be used for the court trial with SM Entertainment and Dong Bang Shin Ki.

    I dunno why people blame him. he deserves all the luxury. Since when a worker get more profit than the boss? I dunno for sure about how things work but i believe LSM isn’t one to fully blame. Ur idols won’t exist without his brilliant brain. ^^

    i’ve realized that no matter how popular and glamorous that like of dbsk on the surface, to SM’s point of view they treat dbsk as their workers only, like a tool to be used for money and profit. and sm would never allow their artists to venture out on their own businesses. SM is too greedy.

    I hope the trio will win their case and start their own company in korea. They can start small but stable at least they can now decide on their own and accept projects that will help them earn more for their future.

      One, I’m not really impressed with f(x) (apparently f is flower and x is female chorosomes), the song or the members except Amber. I don’t think I have seen anyone so far go fangasm on this new group much. There have been mixed opinions actually when the teaser for LACHATA came out.

      Two, if DBSK leaves SM or disbands (which I hope doesn’t happen), it won’t be the end of SM, I mean, he will still keep producing more artists and right now, the ones making him the most money are BoA, Super Junior, SNSD and SHINee. So he’s fine for now. And plus, he probably has more gifted trainees ready to debut and ready to make him more money.

      The only thing that might be the end will be continous death threats and complaints to SM at why DBSK broke up/left SM from 800,000+ fans of theirs and the lawsuit right now.

      yeah I agree with u but u must not forget that it took SM years to come up with boybands that is as successful as H.O.T and shinwa ..H.O.T disbanded in year 2001 & if Im not mistaken its the same year that shinwa left SM and around that time all the groups that debut under SM did not make it big like M.I.LK and black beat and everything changed when DBSK debut in the year 2004 which is like 4 years after H.O.T disbanded and DBSK didnt make it big from the same year yes both of shinee and super junior are doing well but can we say that they are korea best or first boyband no we cant super junior couldnt even win against son dambi and shinee couldnt win against 2NE1 in the charts

        True, but nowadays it doesn’t matter because idols are the ones making money these days more than anything else. It’s like idol mania right now for the past 2-3 years such as Big Bang, DBSK, Wonder Girls, 2NE1 and many more.

        It doesn’t seem to matter if they top charts, just win awards and make more money really. He has plenty of other trainees for the future to train, I just feel sorry for the older ones because they have been training 5 years or more while the new ones are getting pushed out earlier because of their age with as much as 2 – 3 years of training.

      I actually find some people to be really hypocrite because they insult him for what he does to his stars, but have you seen the public stop supporting artists that come from SME? No. In fact, I remember when SHINHWA left SME, a lot of my friends said they would never support SME and started saying horrendous things about the man; yet when DBSK came out they all forgot the insults and bought even up to 3 copies of Rising Sun the following year.

      So really, despite all the controversy, you can’t neglect the fact that as a businessman, he has been very successful. His company has the most followers and an idol for every generation. That’s just how it is and probably how it will be. Otherwise, Koreans wouldn’t be so hyped up about F(x)’s debut right now.

I feel ridiculous that now, the heated battle between SM Ent and 3 members of DBSK is taking place, everyone puts all the blame on Lee So Man…probably bcos he’s the only big name that they know from SM Ent.
