The teaser video to 4Minute’s comeback featuring group BEAST has been revealed on 17th May
A Cube Entertainment representative said, “BEAST has suggested appearing for 4Minute’s teaser MV to show support for their comeback.” Through the teaser, we can see that the girl have shed the cute girl image for a more matured and strong image. The full song will be released on 19th May, and the girls will have their comeback stage this week.

gosh. i wish jype family would show more love, like 4minute-beast. seriously, does anyone notice wonderday (especially wonderpm) trying to minimise their interactions to the public? and by that, i mean, they only barely talk about one another in news… when they are, in fact, really close to one another (judging from the fancams etc). even their families support their colleagues (apparently khun’s mother is a huuuge fan of wg and buys their albums. and nichan, khun’s bro, just recently hosted the wg launch party show in thailand). jyp, put more special stages, pretty please?

YG everywhere?? I think this is a entry about 4minute =S
WTF< i though i saw Minji there. heheh
people change, even if it’s for the better or worst in people’s eyes. If YG is not what they used to be, at least they are still doing what they do best: Making music for everyone. If their styles have changed, then thats okay. I like change, because the same thing is always boring. Anywhooooo, YG and CUBE collab would be nice since they both give off the same aura.
well, imma specify my own opinions too.
they remind me of what YG STILL is. the big awesome family that they are. the family that makes good music and shows amazing performances and talent. ppl just don’t see that anymore. trends have changed and ppl’s general tastes have changed, but YG STILL makes good music. even until today.
CUBE family’s my next fave cuz they remind me of what YG STILL is today. a great team.

I don’t doubt the family part. But I’m talking about music style. YG has changed so much. I always had thought o them as hardcore and sticking to hip hop. Now I don’t see that anymore. Now in no way am I saying that CUBE has taken that role. The video just reminds that’s all.
well, i beg to differ. IMO, they’ve grown into the genre rather than grow out of it. i mean, they’re still doing the hardcore hip hop thing. hallelujah and their new song tell me goodbye are pretty intense. and TOP YB collab with their song friend. TOP’s solo turn it up high and his remix for act like nothing is wrong that he performed at their electronic love tour concert. she’s gone with kush and the leaders are pretty hardcore.
just cuz it’s not their whole image now, doesn’t mean that they aren’t anymore. styles change. they have evolved musically. and personally, i deeply believe that their hip hop roots are still very much intact. c’mon. they’ve had only three albums if you really think abt it. and that’s within 2-3yrs of debuting. still newbies if you asked me. they just haven’t had the opportunity to showcase their growth. i think their upcoming return will tell us whether they are STILL in that style or changed completely from what they USED to be.
as a fan and VIP who has NEVER been disappointed, i believe they will show you that they STILL are who you thought they were. only better this time.
and besides, this is the only thing close to hardcore hip hop that i’ve heard from CUBE. so just cuz of one song ppl are saying they remind you of how YG used to be? lol. i love CUBE family a lot, but i wouldn’t go that far. GDYB & TOP was doing this kinda stuff when they were only in their teens. what makes you think they’ll run away so far from it?

but if you really think about it, modern kpop “hip hop” is actually really different from early 2000’s or 1990’s. the style is actually different and msot definitely the music has changed.
yg changed indeed. but so has every other company. every firm changed to meet the times, meet the current trends to profit. they dont want to be “out of the norm” since they’re afraid its going to be a gamble. now, big bang is automatic which gives them the freedom to stick with music from, lets say 06-07. same goes for wonder girls. their concept and musicality is amazingly the same since irony. but not every group is money and so they conform to meet trends, or for a better word, demand.
The family thing comes naturally to YG, though. CUBE seems to be trying way too hard. But their teasers always get me pumped, so we’ll see. Hope the song is good!

i don’t mean anything bad by saying this, btw. it just sounds too snobbish. cuz i don’t think YGFam is doing that or causing that reaction on purpose. they just choose to do their own thing. i’m sure they hang out with lots of other idols.
for example GD is really close with 2PM Junsu, WooYoung and Nichkhun. CL is close with the WG girls and SeungRi’s familiar with Shindong. Daesung’s the one who gets around the idol circle the most cuz of his friendly nature and TOP gets around with sunbaes alot cuz of his acting. plus, we all know he’s close with HyunJoong, JJ and Yoochun. and YB is just extremely shy so can’t blame him.
they do get friends with the other idols. it’s just that not a lot of ppl know abt it is all.
maybe its jsut me but, u make it seem like YB doesnt have friends outside of YG, jsyk YB is also close with Junsu …
