MBC Music Core 11.09.2010 – HyunA, HongKi and SeonHwa as one-day MCs!

Today on MBC Music Core, 4Minute HyunA, FT Island Lee HongKi and Secret Seon Hwa were the one-day MCs on the show.

The 3 had stood in for fixed MCs So Nyeo Shi Dae Tiffany and Yuri that day as SNSD is in ShangHai for SMTown Live 2010 World Concert.

4Minute and KARA show off their close friendship, “We frequent the ddeobboki village together”

Representative idol girlgroups KARA and 4Minute show off their close friendship.

The 2 groups were guest appearances on MBC youth variety show ‘Flower Bouquet’ aired on 5th September. On the show that day, the MCs asked 4Minute if they see KARA as their rivals since recently KARA has also joined the Kpop stars in their debut in the Japanese music scene. 4Minute youngest member SoHyun said, “We even went to eat ddeobboki with KARA. We frequent the ddeobboki village with KARA.”

HyunA also added, “Even though we advanced into the Japanese music scene first, but seeing KARA become famous in the Japanese music scene makes us happt too.”

[Highlights] 2010 Mnet 20’s Choice by Walkerhill RiverPark Swimming Pool

2010 Mnet 20’s Choice was held on 26th August at 5pm in Seoul Walkerhill Hotel RiverPark Swimming pool which saw the participation of various stars and their hot live performances.

The MCs of the night were Seo InYoung and Jo Kwon, and about 1000 over audiences were also present. And the event had seemed like a summer night poolside party. Unlike last year, Mnet 20’s Choice this year was held with the prize ceremony for the 20 most influential stars for 2010.

4Minute Jung JiYoon sports a new long hairstyle?

4Minute Jung JiYoon posted up photos of herself in a wig on her minihompy on 23rd August and the photos have garnered much interests from the netizens.

In the photo revealed, Jung JiYoon was seen with a more feminine feel after wearing the long hair wig. Since Jung JiYoon usually sports the short haircut, fans’ responses to her in the long hair wig are positive.

HyunA was on MBC variety show ‘Flower Bouquet’ aired on 22nd August when she and the other 4Minute members who were present talked about their ideal type of girls.”

SoHyun was asked “Do you like guys who are tall?” and she said, “HyunA unnie like short guys. Her ideal is 170cm.”

HyunA was then asked, “So someone of Haha’s height is okay?” And HyunA’s answer was, “That is the best height.” She was then asked again, “Have you dated any guy who are tall?” and she avoided the question with, “Aei, why ask that.”

After School Nana, “4Minute HyunA is my rival”

After School Nana garners interests by saying that 4Minute HyunA is her rival.

Nana had pointed to 4Minute HyunA during the filming of MBC variety show ‘Flower Bouquet’ set to air on 22nd August when asked who her rival is.

Nana said, “I think 4Minute’s HyunA is the coolest,” and added that she is always watching HyunA and her charisma features.

2AM and 2PM for a showdown with their bigmatch performance for Mnet 20’s Choice

‘Sentimental idols’ 2AM and ‘beastly idols’ 2PM will come face to face in a showdown.

The 2 groups are set for a powerful big match performance for the upcoming Mnet 20’s Choice on 26th August. There has been great interests for the special stages lined up for Mnet 20’s Choice every year.

Through their special stages, 2AM will be shedding their usual ballad-dol image and attempting a different genre, while 2PM will be showing a strong appeal as beastly-dols.

Other than that, girlgroups who have came up with their unique fashion trends the early half of the year will be appearing again in this fashion trends ie Narsha will be sporting the see-through look, 4Minute the military look etc.

Son DamBi and GaHee voted #1 and #2 as singers who will look the best in bikini

Coming back with new song ‘Queen’ sexy singer Son DamBi has been voted as the ‘singer who looks the best in bikini’.

A poll was done on music site Bugs from 10th to 16th August on that ‘Which is the singer who will look the best in bikini’ and Son DamBi was voted number 1 with 287 votes.

Son DamBi has always been known for her sexy singer image with hit songs like ‘Crazy’ and ‘Saturday Night’. And recently her slender leg line was also the topic amongst netizens online. Netizens who took part in the poll commented, “Even Venus will cry in front of Son DamBi”, “Doesn’t the queen look good in everything?” etc .
