miss A, “We don’t think of WonderGirls as our competitors”

New girlgroup miss A shows their affection to their agency seonbae WonderGirls.

In the recent interview, the girls talk about how they have been compared to with WonderGirls, the representative girlgroup from JYP Entertainment under which miss A’s label AQ Ent belongs to.

With that miss A said, “We don’t think of WonderGirls as subject of comparison or competition. WonderGirls is a great girlgroup. We are all like a family. WonderGirls members are very helpful and they gave us many great advices, not sparing their affection for us. We will work hard and want to be as successful in Asia as WonderGirls are in the States.”


They also added, “WonderGirls SunYe and 2AM Jo Kwon whom we have spent our training days together also gave us many advices about becoming an entertainer. We are very thankful.”

They ended with, “We don’t feel any burden because of the name ‘JYP’s girlgroup’. But we just want to show everyone our talents sooner.”

    truthfully I liked 2ne1 first and found them to be awesome at first but man! the fans are so annoying that makes 2ne1 look bad. and they lost a point from for that reason!

      Ignore it then. I’m a big fan of 2NE1 and I agree that some of us can be real cocky and I just scroll down when I see comments like that but EVERY SINGLE GROUP has fans like that, it’s a given in Kpop but you learn to just deal with it lol

      I’m not saying you have to be a fan of 2NE1 but I think it’s a bit pathetic for someone to be an anti just because of a group’s fans. There are ways to ignore stuff like that.

      and sometimes I wish Blackjack’s would just shut the hell up lol Why are so many international blackjack’s so immature *sighs*
      Anyway, ALL girl groups are competing with each other whether they acknowledge it or not. But it’s only on the business side of things(album sales, CF deals, fans and variety show appearances) and in their personal lives they’re friends with each other so it’s all good imo

      4minute fans are especially sensitive when it comes to 2ne1. and im pretty sure it’s because of the fact that 4minute was constantly being compared to 2ne1 by absolutely everyone, and 2ne1 always came out on top. BUT that is in the past, and 4minute fans need to move on man. why so angry?

      it is not that hard to IGNORE the comments. it’s silly to hate a group because of their fans. are you that easily influenced by things which are insignificant?

    It`s good if they`re consciously trying to develop a different style from the other groups…whether they are successful remains to be seen I guess…so may idol groups sound too much like eachother now…

    I like Chinese pop:) and KPop too…sounds like an interesting blend…

      Idk I think it would have thought f(x) will be their greatest competition since there are 2 Chinese members in each. And those two groups are most likely to promote in China, Taiwan and other Greater China countries.

      4Minute is more like 2NE1’s rivial if everyone has forgotten. I think also After School could be 2NE1’s rivial too…

        Truthfully, CL and minzy are girls that heavily rely on makeup. Without makeup they are not pretty and i mean NOT. If you talk about pretty, Miss A hands down as each member are pretty.

        there’s nothing exciting in 2ne1’s choreography. I can’t understand how they are the best dance group when they can’t dance as well as fx or miss a.         Got to straight up something here.. I don’t think YG create 2NE1 to be a dance group… He prefers them to have talents than rather than following the trend of idols groups nowadays… dances that they dance are only for making their songs to be more lively.. not as a main attraction for their songs..

        I love 2NE1 for their songs and talents.. not for they ‘uncool’ (to some people) dances…

      This group is by far, the best rookie group for this year.
