More T-ara photos revealed; member So Yeon was So Nyeo Shi Dae trainee

The concept photos for debuting 6-member group T-ara have been revealed.

The group is 3-years in the making and consists of members Eun Jung, JiYeon, HyoMin and new members BoRam, GRi and SoYeon.

tara_060709_1They previously released a teaser photo on the 3rd featuring them in golden wavy hair and the new photos revealed on the 6th showed them with a pure and innocent image.

Their debut full concept and their profile will be revealed on the 7th. The group will also start promoting from mid-July. They will also start going on broadcast activities from August.

Member SoYeon is known to be a So Nyeo Shi Dae trainee, she was selected as a member to So Nyeo Shi Dae and had prepared for debut back then for 4 months. She even participated in So Nyeo Shi Dae’s showcase and even filmed for the MV. But 1 month before So Nyeo Shi Dae’s debut, she dropped out from the group.

YG, “2NE1’s goal this year is an independent concert”

YGEntertainment has revealed its goal for group 2NE1 this year.

YG said on the 6th, “2NE1’s ultimate goal this year is to hold an independent concert. This is like a dream which is hard to fulfil since they are a girlgroup which has just debuted, but we are working on fulfilling this dream as the production team, we should not let the hope go off like that.”

YG also revealed that 2NE1’s minialbum will include 7 songs. “It includes the work of Teddy YG and Kush, who will always bring great works even for the next 10 years, and they had worked very hard overnight together for this minialbum to produce some great songs. And even though we cannot say that we are 100% satisfied with the results, we gave 100% our best for this album.”

They also revealed the girls’ comeback stage, to be on 10th July on Music Bank, “They will perform both the title song ‘I Don’t Care’ and ‘Pretty Boy’ off their minialbum for their comeback stage.”

“The girls will promote the song ‘I Don’t Care’ all the way till end-August. We are still deciding on whether to go with promotions with another song off the album. But we have set for them to promote ‘Pretty Boy’ after that, and release another MV beginning of August.”

They added, “2NE1 will release an official album in October if they are to go with promotions of ‘Pretty Boy’. If not, they will release the album in September. Their official album will feature Big Bang GDragon’s works and songs. The songs are meant for their official album so we did not put them in their minialbum.”

They said lastly, “This is giving thoughts that we want GDragon’s solo album songs to release first on 18th August.”

    There is nothing wrong with dreaming big. Actually we all should dream big. It’s a great way to inspire us in the things we do everyday.

    With that, I’m gonna believe that this year 2NE1 will have their first concert. I really hope they do. It would be the result of their hard work for the whole year. ^^ And I know YG Family will be happy for them. =)

    BTW, what’s that about GDragon’s solo album? Will he or will he not release a solo album this year?

    the article mentions that YG’s very aware of the limitations for a girl group to hold a concert – but they still wanna work towards it.

    they hv a dream, and they’ll be working hard to achieve it – where’s the negative in that? all the best 2ne1!

    PS: 2ne1 doesn’t even have OFFICIAL fanclub yet, so YG should work on that and then gather more people that even though they’re not a fan but they will be interested. (lol) πŸ˜€ V

    wonder girls had their first concert after two years since debut and snsd who’s maaddd popular right now still haven’t had their first solo concert. then here’s 2ne1 who just debuted planning to have their first independent concert already within the year? hmmm..

    i hope they can live up to whatever plans they make publicly.

      it’s actually depend on the company in whether they want to hold a concert not based on fan base…like BB’s 1st concert
      a concert is a good thing to attract more fans..and through a concert more people will get to know what potential and talent an artist has

    i was hoping 2NE1 would have a concert at the end of the year! i remember BB had their first concert 4 months after debut. it was a fun show and a great way to get to know the group better. Jinusean and Park Bom were guests. I hope BB are guests at 2NE1’s concert, if they have one. i really hope they hold a concert!! ^_^

      bigbang held their first independent concert (end of dec 06) 3 months after they debuted (end of sept 06)
